    This album was/is great, I never got around to buying it for some reason (always streamed it), so this could make be purchase.

    Just fyi: the other accounts are not him. Richard changed from 8user48736353001 to user18081971 this morning, so the first one is now also taken over immediately by a sad soul, just like that fake Caustic Window thing.

     

    Maybe he will start a completely new account? Until then... :cry:

    Yeah, that sounds familiar, I'd forgotten about Zavvi. Speaking of Fopp, the Nottingham branch has gone really downhill, I used to enjoy a visit to discover the odd £3 bargain and unusual finds the big shops didn't carry but it's like an hmv now, hardly surprising since they own them

    So you're saying you saw Bjork standing at a show alone and you didn't talk to her!?

    I would be scared. I've seen videos of her tearing people up. Apparently she's not really friendly to strangers.

     

    I saw her maul a reporter once on the news, really scratched into the guys face lol.

     

    I could be missing some context though, maybe she's super friendly who knows.

    In 1996, Björk arrived at Bangkok International Airport with her son Sindri after a long haul flight when Julie Kaufman, a female reporter, greeted Björk with "Welcome to Bangkok", which was then followed by Björk's attacking her and knocking her to the ground. Björk has said that the reason for the attack was that the reporters in the airport started talking to her son, saying such things as, "It must be hard to be the son of a pop star." Björk's record company also said that the reporter had been pestering Björk for four days. Björk later apologized to Kaufman, who declined to involve the police. The incident would appear on the TruTV series TruTV Presents: World's Dumbest... and VH1's "100 Most Shocking Moments in Rock and Roll".

    The only tracks I'm not really feeling so far are Pink Floyd and Parking Lot, I can't get past the samples, seems really un-Aphex like to be so obvious. Do you think they may be some of his oldest recordings, when we was starting out and using the samples as a basis?

    I really like Big Yellow Taxi for some reason so to have an AFX track sample it is a treat. I'm a bit less passionate about Pink Floyd (the track) but I think that's only because I'm oblivious to the band anyway.

     

    Speaking of samples, the Robocop and Night Of The Living Dead tracks are amazing too, and the unusualness of such obvious samples makes them all the more interesting.

    Yes, those other tracks work. Maybe a few more listens needed

    Listened to them all twice now (some more), which doesn't seem like much but that's over 22 hours! Anyway I think more or less all of them have something great about them, definitely preferred the second play.     I'm probably being a bit of an echo here but, WOW sekonda

    sekonda (steve reich vibes ) is great but at the beginning there is a melody which "in my opinion" sounds completly wrong regarding bpm.

    first i thought youtube might be open and some other track is playing. strange.

    The track seems to me that he's just recorded him 'jamming' on an idea. Got a bit running as the basis, then testing out melodies, changes, etc.

     

    I absolutely love it, don't get me wrong. Probably my favorite track from all this. But it doesn't sound like a 'finished' take.

    Maybe he just needed more time on it?

    Are people copying down the descriptions on the tracks? I have a note with them all, at least I think I have them all. [...] I think I'll just put them as close to upload order as I can and dig in. But what about Girl/Boy Dark Version & Red Calx?
