Thrash has his say on the release...
https://krisweston.com/index.php/rant/ -
I was initially a bit disappointed the surprise was only track names but now I'm pretty pleased, it makes the whole release that bit more complete. Now I'm just wondering if the album ever had a title too?

I just retired my iPod Classic in favour of my iPhone and iTunes Match, I didn't want to carry around 2 devices. It's a compromise though, I don't like how Apple have fucked up the clean, simple navigation, now you tap on an artist and you get a list of every track on an album under the title which makes it a pain to scroll down. It also lists albums by release date (newest first) as opposed to the iPod which did it alphabetical. Lots of other niggles too, like since the iOS 7.1 update tracks no longer pre-cache, so there's a small gap between tracks, they better fix that in 8

There was a Gary Rhodes cookery programme in the mid 90s that used various tracks from SAW1 for the end shots of the finished food. I couldn't listen to the album for ages after that without getting hungry.

Got this email some minutes ago. I tryed to make another transaction but it failed again.Greetings from Amazon Payments, We're sorry, but your May 10, 2014 payment to James E Thomas for $16.00 has failed.
Edit: It seems like it's because of my bank, anyone using euros got this problem?
My payment got declined too, tried again with the same card and it failed again. Had to put it on the credit card in the end. Then half an hour later I got an automated call from my bank's fraud prevention dept. All sorted now

Yes, I shouldn't be confessing this in here of all placesYou disgust me! Infidel!!!!
Edit:
On the other hand, I've got all these to look forward to. Surely someone must envy that?

That track is 'king awesome. Guess I need to fill in the gaps in my afx collection (all of Analord and that other Caustic Window album I just saw on Amazon).
2 of them have appeared on compilations and 1 of them was bootlegged from a live set. other than that no leaked copies of the actual album existPossibly a stupid question but are these tracks unheard/unreleased or are there bad rips on the interwebz already?
Mike P. played an excerpt from one of the other tracks in his Electronic Explorations set 4 years ago.
Edit: It's being mixed out of the Monolith track about 2 minutes into this:

Just realised I don't have any of the Analogue Bubblebath releases either *hangs head in shame*

Ha! Just realised I already have one track then on a Trance Europe Express comp.
-
I'm in, contributed earlier this evening. I was so genuinely shocked at the total. Big thanks to Joyrex for making the fantasy a reality.

Just get one of these and hold a phone close to record it stright to mp3, should be OK I reckon
-
Nice. Nice. Nice. Just saw the email. I wonder if it's a new(ish) track, title makes me think yes
-
Modern Love have re-released this in a jewel case, shame they've dropped the fancy oversize case… linky
Also re-released the Demdike Stare back cat too

Not listened yet but will it tack this onto the Oscillate for extended pleasure? OR-TECH-RAH!
I dunno, it's got a bit of a harder sound actually.

Boomkat review, didn't you just know it would be one of their records of the week.
-
Oh right, that was easy
-
Agreed, not so much talk of him here but he's getting some higher profile attention, like Pitchfork, he's been on plenty of top lists from last year (Amoeba Music and some others) w/ the fucking amazing ...The Men Parted The Sea To Devour The Water on Latitudes. I guess his mom was the northern DJ that suggested her friends, Soft Cell do a cover of Tainted Love. He himself also makes for a good story, working on music production w/ troubled youth. I hope he'll be around for a long time.
I think that's the best thing he's done and I was really hoping he would continue in that vein rather than reverting to the darker, more ambient style of his first album.
Anyone heard his Church of Synth remix?
-
Well that was dark as fuck. Kind of continues on from the first album rather than the stuff he's done inbetween, which I'm a little disappointed by but only a little. Will be buying.
-
Nice one, will give it a listen this afternoon, the above comments are really whetting my appetite.
-
I haven't actually heard Exai yet because I haven't been able to get the discs out of the cardboard sleeves - I might have to buy the download version.
Wha?
Are they glued in?
sounds like some really strong aedhesive...
I now finally understand why people say their music is hard to get into.
-
Once this early release info hits the news networks Bleep will be choked even more, still nothing on BBC News site (yet)
-
Loving the last track. Rest is a bit underwhelming for me atm
Now this is the sort of comment I'm more used to on release day

That sounds way more like I expected the working relationship to be.
