Really looking forward to this. Aphex got me "into" electronic music many years ago, as I'm sure is the case with many here. Long live the new tunes!

This afx one from 2010 is kinda neat if you haven't read it before:
Never seen this. His best interview, by far.

a year and a half later, and this is still fucking brilliant.
Agreed! I've watched it countless times.

LARRY, love those.

melancholera- Yah cool drawing, mang. Would defo like to see more.
(for phuture and web purposes, at that level of focus with those fine lines, if you have Photoshop, I recommend Sharpen->Unsharp Mask, Amount 250%, Radius .5 pixels (that's point-five pixels...))
Thanks for the tip! I do have PS and have used it extensively, but not that feature.
As for the picture, I didn't have good lighting available so I had to set a long shutter speed to get it bright enough. And yes, these are very fine lines. I bought the finest tip pen I could find (.02 mm Micron). There's something zen about that kind of precision.
Thanks for the compliments, guys. Really. I have a couple more in this style finished that I will be posting soon.

It doesn't hurt the animals (because they're dead, lol). But it is a pulsing, colossal tribute to human vanity. Not that I haven't laughed at it.

This album is so good I can't really find words to describe how nice and relevant it is.
This.
I've particularly fallen in love with the second half. It's incredible how much there is to pick up on during repeat listens, and even how the exact vibe/emotions of the songs aren't apparent during the first few listens. They really came through with this on IMO.

Reading this thread, I am baffled at the almost total lack of love for "Jacquard Causeway" (even from people who have a favorable view of the album thus far). That track floored me the first time and the appreciation has just been building since.

Watched "In the Mouth of Madness" for about the 10th time in my life. Thought it was cheesy the last time I saw it, but not so much now. Good paranoid, claustrophobic sci-fi horror film. RecommendedJohnCarpenterfun/10. Or like a solid 7.
