when epic bought psyonix(rocket league) everyone was pleased to hear nothing would change besides the game going free to play. The epic fortnite community infiltrated rocket league. The servers declined without upgrades. Little thing like being able to see the population of different game modes disappeared and were replaced by vague verbiage. And skins that I bought for $1-$2 years ago are now $25. I could also recall similar issues with Path of Exile over the years since they were bought by tencent. Really disappointed to see Bandcamp fall under the same spell. Greed. Money is so dumb.

had a 90 minute session in the drum room with cycles 5 today. It's so lovely & different, I'm always looking for restrained albums like this to go on an adventure with when I'm practicing. But I literally had to trick my brain back into regular mode(somewhat) when I put on something else. I didn't realize I was locked into some weird 32nd drumming even though the cycles album was fairly quick to catch onto and ride straight with.

rocket league is a guilty pleasure for me. It's one of the rare games I can really find fun being horrible at. It's also good at being a game you can pick up for 20 minutes a day, have a laugh, or some great gameplay and be done. Just saw the next event coming January 26 is a collab with Grimes. Though it would be an interesting crossover to share here for any fans:

oh right on I see now, that 20th anniversary edition looks enticing. Funny bit I'm remembering about all the early eps, I thought a lot of them were supposed to be 33rpm. And could never get used to them at normal speed.
