i picked up the skream 12" double packs skreamizm vols 1, 2, and 3 yesterday, along with the soul jazz sub island/pass the red stripe 12"
edit: disc two of vol 3 - 'make me' b/w 'chest boxing' is sub heaven. crackin stuff
anyway i have 8 sides of skream. fucking minted.
been listening a lot to the originators lately - this horsepower track from 'in fine style', tempa001, is fantastic
horsepower productions - gorgon sound
pm me for errrr further information ;)

this clip warms the cockles of my heart. kode9 demolishes sonar.
jesus, the fucking BASS :D
-
the track he played is the one that chef described as 'poison' and 'armed with an unusual time signature'
it's about 15 mins into the second half of the sesh
-
Whatever the track is at 16 minutes I need right now. I suspect it's an unreleased cut off Benga's new album in the fall, which I hear is going to be great.
skream played some unreleased benga last night, including that crazy wonky timesig track from the stella sesh.
i went fucking nuts haha

youngsta mix is savage
i do not think kode9 is burial, no.
-
i just wish this thread would go away.
tough titties
-
nice diagram, from the inlay to tempa's the roots of dubstep
-
nobody else sounds like burial. this is actually an oooold folk song, originally
-
dubstep special on my mate nialler9's blog, one of the more read irish music blogs: http://www.nialler9.com/blog/2007/08/14/th...s-in-your-bath/
and i get a shout out as well

i quite like the warrior queen version.
also that last track atop posted is fuckin tops, it's a dmz instrumental with some wicked grime mcing over the top. caning it on my mp3 player at the moment.
-
Matty G's 50000 Watts is a fucking tune
for real, last track on dubstep allstars vol. 5 (mixed by n-type, another artist i love)

Loving Nightmarez by Hijack, whoever posted that one.
Stolen off Bitchdork here's a dubstep orgy off Rinse FM
After a few calls to his mates, Stella Sessions became Skream back-to-back (b2b) with Benga b2b Plastician b2b Chef b2b LD b2b Hijak featuring Sgt. Pokes on the mic for five hours. DJ Geeneus definitely passed through the studio at one point, too, just for good measure.omgz, definitely grabbing this when i get home from work.
in other news, just been announced that skream is playing the electric picnic festival here, which is on next week, and which i have a ticket for

OHOHOHOHO! just installed a bass subwoofer on my bedroom stereo. dubstep never sounded so good.
-
i live in the arsehole of ireland, so no. been trying to organise a monthly night here with the local dnb crew.
-
Anyone got any new sick recommendations 'cause I need my fill.
this. skream- explode
fucked up rhythm, i think it's 9/8. anyway it makes you walk funny on phones.
also this. mala - forgive
deep deep constant bass and soulfulness. i walk to my lift to work every mornin to this. one that is more than teh sub of its parts. top notch as usual for dmz, but i really really love this one, it's in my top five.

this tune would make a dead man fucking dance
-
skream - midnight request line (master of arpeggios. most likely to have a windowlicker-style breakthrough)
digital mystikz - antiwar dub (masters of roots. masters of fucking dubstep really. left leg out also highly highly recommended)
burial - u hurt me (probably most electronic music of all 'step producers. verging on ambient)
shackleton - naked (probably most progressive, forward thinking dubstep producer. this track has an almost ridiculously huge bass drop)
kode9 & daddi gee - sine (minimal minimal minimal - most mental prince cover you will EVER hear. daddi gee is now called the spaceape. best mc in the scene. kode9's remix of massive music's 'find my way' also a huge track.)
imho best way to get a feel is through pirate stations like rinse fm and sub fm
some mixes:

another wattem won over to the cause!
i only have a 1gig mp3 player, but seriously the only stuff on it is dubstep 12"s and pusher's full rinse. dubstep is the best music in the world to doss around town to. check out coki's 'burnin' whitelabel which atop linked to a page or two ago. i am addicted to that track.
-
discovery of the week!
i honestly don't think i ever heard anyone pwn a wobbler bassline so well.
-
dubstep meets chiptunes, sorta. crackin track with some very skream arpeggios. wouldn't be surprised if it's an alter. the bside, hornz cru, is great, skreamesque fare as well.
almost certain he used the tweakbench snes vsts for this badboy.
