    Still rocking Krakow the most. I find it more raw and intense (and unique?) than the other sets but that may be just because it was actually the first time I've seen them live.

    Their remixes ARE some of their best stuff. Ecobondage was fucking stunning, gives me the impression there's a vast fantasy land of tracks from between Cichlisuite and LP5 we'll never hear. Weissensee, Stop Look Listen, Skeng, Tunnels Ov Set, Psi Onyx, Aire Kaiiya, shit, too many to count.

    That's not a remix, right? Or is it?

    of the past 4-5 years of Autechre the tracks that feel the most perfect to me are this one and Tac Lacora.

     

    so glad Ae didn't try to collect every single rare analog synth under the sun and instead spent their time becoming some of the most interesting and emotionally compelling sound designers ever (no offense aphex)

    This! My thoughts exactly! They constantly push boundaries of sound design and actually use the most modern methods (and keep developing their own!) which is exactly why they've been my number one artists for quite some years now.

    I don't think I've ever listened to Ae other than (relatively) sober. Having said that while writing this I think getting some green and putting on LP5 would be a fantastic idea. I need to hop into my helicopter and hop over to Ivans.

    Do that, man! You'll find so many new details in the music that way.

    I don't know. I find it a bit sad that some people need drugs to enjoy Ae. No offence to anyone. Just thinking.

    The fuck? I can enjoy Ae without drugs and I do enjoy it that way daily. WTF is wrong with your attitude towards me all the time? I don't even know you, man.

    I dropped some acid at the weekend and listened to Quaristice. My verdict: this album had to be made for tripping! The shortness and variedness of the tracks make perfect sense here. It's like changing TV channels or something. And every "channel" gives you different audio-visual experience and a new perception. Tho I love Versions and Quadrage EP the original LP now makes sense to me the most.

    recks on was incredible on early listens and I remember thinking it would get old after a while.. was wrong. It gets better and better. :sorcerer:

    The Krakow set included a track that was similar to recks on. I mean it had a very heavy straightforward hip hop beat with some amazing fuzzy bass. One of the highlights of the show for me. I hope it will be released at some point.

    I'm not the kind of guy who makes playlists and change the order of tracks. I believe an album is composed the way it is for a reason and I respect the choice. If I had to choose Quaristice.Quadrange.ep.ae works the best for me as an album (well it's an EP but you know what I mean).

    The thread. I don't see the point in the whole "Old Autechre Album Announced" part of the name.

    your solution is just too straightforward and logical for a typical watmm thinking. i don't think it can be implemented
