  1. hey guyzz

just got a copy of TROG on vinyl....but i think it may be the mispress!

can anyone shed a little more light on that subject? like how many copies of this got out compared to the repress, nature of the surface noise (static and whatnot), this "artifact" (does it happen to be this white line that creates a 90' angle on the cover by chance?)

anyway i bought it off amazon from someone brandnew with the skam sticker and everything, but i did notice surface noise enough to make me want to clean the record.......um.....

otherwise i just re- fell in love with this album after hearing it mastered for vinyl and absolutely BUMPING in every frequency :music:

can sorta almost maybe look past the surface noise part...

  2. However, the one album that is guaranteed to bring tears to my eyes on half the tracks is Paul Simon's Graceland.

Just got into this album, makes me feel fucking amazing after listening to it, like I just took a mentholated shower on a jungle's beach or something.

Rhythm of the saints is a great album too especially the drums and rhythm elements, but I think that came out in 90?

  3. I just used proper twice in my post without being aware and now I feel as though I have a very limited vocabulary.

Plus I'm still sitting here at sonic posting this. And the carhop girl has come by to ask me if I need any condiments about 5 times now, making me look like a creepster in my white creep van who has nothing better to do than hang out in the sonic parking lot.

  4. I just spent 2 and a half hours trolling watmm while sitting at sonic in my work van.

I deliver dry cleaning, and those 2 and a half hours could've been spent doing my job and I would be done with a proper amount of time for myself at the end of the day, now I have to run my ass off.

Plus, I started compiling a soundtrack to a zombie movie I wish I could make, but I know that with my skills and resources, I could not create anything proper....and I believe the soundtrack to be incredible, with the majority being pop songs from the 60s-70s.....would be epic.

  5. i want to have both - 24kbps for archive purposes, 16 for listening, i have vlc but my computer sound setup is a joke

the reason i want to convert down is because im really ocd and for some reason it makes sense that the best possible sound quality for a 16kbps version can best come from the hi def "master" if thats what it is.

basically what im after is a program for shitty WINDOWS that could handle converting from 24, flac wont do it so i suppose most programs wouldn't either.

i dont feel like downloading another copy of it because im so lame.

  6. Boards of Canada - Geogaddi.....a long time fucking coming man, a long fucking time

    more recent:

Chet Atkins - Chet Atkins at Home

Autechre - Peel Session 2 (5.99 for a used sealed copy)

Boards of Canada - Hi Scores (one of the represses, 5.99 used)

Im also expecting In Rainbows in the mail for all you radiohead haterz

hey is someone from here the one from memphis who is selling some BOC vinyl on ebay?
