GAS is neither good nor bad. GAS simply...is.

Grant did the two 7" tracks on Green I am pretty sure. Rumor has it that those were originally IG-88 tracks, or so I've heard.

Considering what you'd pay for one of the original vinyl versions, the price seems more than reasonable to me.
Also, as someone who followed the band very obsessively for years through live recordings, demos and near impossible to find rarities, the bonus materials on the reissues is meant more for people like me.Getting master/studio quality recordings of things that have been fan favorites in the bootleg community for over a decade couldn't be more exciting!

Oooh, I've always wanted a better mastered version of Tales of a Scorched Earth, that song rips but it's mastered terribly
See I've always LOVED the production on that. Corgan has done the whole "intense overmodulated metal" thing at other times too.

OMG
DIZZLE. SPEED. BLAST. LOVER. TOWERS OF RABBLE.
A MCIS-era version of Eye? A whole track dedicated to the instrumental middle 8 from Beautiful?
FUCK YES.

I am actually replaying Shenmue right now. Still a fantastic game.
MUST FIND SAILORS.

While not strictly music from a video game, I thought it relevant to mention here that I've just completed an album of dub techno tracks using only the menu and bootup screen sounds from my Dreamcast for everything in said tracks except the drum machines. Should be released for free within the year, with a bunch of fun remixes to follow.
Me remix, yes!
For sure! Expect a PM once I assemble the sample packs.

Easily Cosmic Thing for me, but it helps that I saw them on that tour and it changed my life.

Actually just scored a NM copy of this for only $15:

SAW II 3LP reissue on 1972 arrived today...I only preordered it in JANUARY.
Still though - quite nice quality on all fronts. The only real shame is that Stone In Focus is missing, but otherwise this could not be more fantastic for $30.

Finally picked up Rosa, Blau and Hellblau by Studio 1:

First off, thanks to the OP for mentioning my soundtrack - that's awesome!
For anyone who wants to hear it in full (or buy it, even) you can check it out here:
Funnily enough I had Eufloria developer Alex May leave a lovely comment about our music on the cubus guestbook a few months ago. He obviously is a fan of droney ambient ways ...
That is funny, although not surprising. Alex is a wonderful guy with great taste!

I just boarded the Prometheus Gravy Train!

Where do I get Automatic Tasty vinyl?
Lunar Disko is taking preorders via the email on their website. 25 euros for both shipped to the states.

Just picked up the following over the last few weeks (although the first wasn't a purchase, but a trade) -
Hakobune - Recalling My Insubstantial Thoughts
Foo Fighters - Foo Fighters
The Dirtbombs - Party Store
Seefeel - (CH-Vox)
Sleeparchive - Papercup
Porter Ricks - Biokinetics (The blue one since Best Buy fucked up my order for the black)
Aphex Twin - SAW II (Sire Reissue)
DeepChord - Grandbend
µ-Ziq - Salsa With Mesquite
AFX - Analogue Bubblebath Vol. 4
Automatic Tasty - Strange Terrain
Automatic Tasty - Fieldwork
Also, got blown away by the two Andy Stotts on Modern Love from last year, a bit too late for the vinyl, and picked up the 2CD expanded reissue. Very into that!

Joe Meek! Awesome!
Recently I managed to snag a copy of Analog Bubblebath 2, which is cool to finally have.

High five! Yeah, I've spent literally months out of the year with any one of the four LPs on endless repeat in my bedroom. There's simply nothing else like that in my record collection, besides maybe Selected Ambient Works II - music that sounds as if it is outside of time and space. Like really truly alien and self-aware. Even the kickdrums eventually sound more like hearing the heartbeat of some gigantic organism from inside its womb.
