  1. Got the merch e-mail and couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw both the London and Barcelona EPs in stock. I’m embarrassed to admit my pulse actually rose to about 195 and thanks to the adrenaline rush I payed the €27,50 postage without batting an eye. I’m obviously a materialistic idiot but at least I’m a materialistic idiot who now owns two semi-rare AFX EPs.

  3. I know In a Room is flashier but zin2 just has that special something. The bass line is insanely catchy. He manages to cram so many moods into a track that is less than three minutes long. And man oh man, those pads and chord changes are beautifuuuuuuuuul. They hit me right in the feels. I love his 10+ minute epics just as much as anyone else but these short and sweet tracks are something special. I hope he does more of them. Showing restraint is the signature of a true master.

  4. No one asked for my opinion but I’ll tell you anyway: the EP is awesome. Love the more mellow/melancholic vibe. The use of reverb. The chords. The pads. The details. Maybe I’m a really shallow person but this release feels… deep? There’s an emotional connection here that I haven’t felt since MARCHROMT30a Edit 2b 96 GURGRL Assvibe 30 dps Mix Mania 3.0 v33 Gwriidmslsclop.

I’ll be playing this on repeat today. And tomorrow. Maybe forever. More please!

PS. Fave track is Room. I might enjoy the 22 version more than the original. It’s a psychedelic mind gobbler.

  5. Why isn’t that Sonar 10” thing available somewhere? It is real? Is it a hoax? Are the owners just too lazy to do a needledrop? No one owns a turntable?

  6. Yes! Bought the posh premium tickets. Hopefully there’ll be places to sit. I’m too old to rave but wouldn’t miss this for the world. Been a fan for 25 years and this is the first opportunity I’ve had to see him without travelling too far. I’m going to force my wife to come with me as well. Some years ago I dragged her all the way to Redruth School and St. Michael’s Mount so it’s only right that I’m forcing her to this show as well. We’ll be bringing earplugs (for the loud music), sunglasses (for the annoying lights) and Alvedon (for the headache). I’m sure it’ll be a memorable evening.

  7. I’ve read the entire thread, googled ”NFT”, and checked Wikipedia but still don’t understand what it’s all about. I think I’ll stick to listening to the music.

  8. Or... what if it is some kind of small, remote controlled box that you can plug into your speakers or amplifier and RDJ can send a new track to any random user of said little box at any given time? Imagine the frenzy among the fans! Big time FOMO!

  9. I just wonder what the heck all those mixers, EQs, FXs routings, Samplers and recorder devices do to the sound when the result is exteremly clean and mastered to perfection.. I mean doesn't the sound lose alot of that analogue gear jizz?

And what is all that complicated patch programing? 1 month of patching together with a enginering dude to get a detuned lead?

I understand what you mean but listen to the hihat on ”Produk 29”. It’s noisy as hell and that gate don’t really hide it either.
  10. lol I dont get the point of re doing an album almost 30 years after its release... (I mean ok MFM since it was unreleased) but SAW ? really ?

I’m pretty sure he meant he’s done new transfers of the original cassettes using better equipment, not re-recorded SAW1.

Also, Tha2 is a thing of beauty!!!
