  1. Security guard: Hello, sir.  What are you doing in this parking lot at this time of night?

Corey Feldman: Here- lemme show you a film that's gonna blow the lid off the secrets that brought me to this very location...

    ---

Old lady: Excuse me sir...  Would you happen to have the time?

Corey Feldman:  How can you separate time from space?  Here- lemme show you a film about general relativity, and it's gonna change the way you think about life and also Angeric 2Da Cornflakes...

    ---

Corey Feldman girlfriend: Oh, baby, that's the spot... don't stop...

Corey Feldman: Here- lemme show you a film about the g-spot, which is gonna reveal the conspiracy to hide the fact that every woman's g-spot is indeed a portal to the Galapagos Islands...

    ---

Corey Feldman looking in the mirror:  Man... What happened to you man.....  Remember that time you were in Goonies?  What happened...

Corey Feldman's reflection:  Here- lemme show you a film that's gonna reveal the deep secrets and truth of your whole life, but you need $10,000,000 to make it- so you can watch it, now.

Corey Feldman and Corey Feldman's reflection:  Hmmm... .....INDIEGOGO!

  2.

I wonder what all my music sounds like on these.....:

    Gameboy-Headphones.jpg

    p.s. Game Boy was amazing

I remember playing Balloon Kid on those, the pulse waves and stereo spacing blew my 8-year old mind/ears after previously only hearing the Gameboy from its built-in speakers

Yah, man- Game Boy on earphones was stereosuperphonic like, back in the day.  So many good soundtracks.

  3. I thought someone said the music for the trailer isn't from the film at all and it's some outside company paid to just do the trailer? I could be totally wrong here.

Yah, totally possible.  Like how they used music from Dragon The Bruce Lee Story to promote Forrest Gump.

They have a side-by-side trailer on IMDb and in direct comparison I like the old one much better but check for yourself :

Holy shit, the original is good...  I guess the original stands out much more when comparing to something trying to emulate it...

    *poster pic

Better, and it certainly evokes the original's style more; the only place I feel they dropped the ball was the "2049" font. At least the new poster keeps it in the same style as the title.

Makes it look like the movie's coming out in 2049.

Yah, if anyone here bumps this thread in 2049, like, "So this is finally coming out this year?", it'll be pretty good.  *gets popcorn and watches this thread until 2049*

Internet browsers will prolly take up ~5TB RAM minimum.

  5. You know what's popular to put on pizza in Tokyo now? Homeless dude pubez. The Japanese have a very acute sense of taste, so they know when the pubez are just normal pubez doused in vinegar, dog shit, and non-homeless dude smegma. You can't fake homeless pubez if you tried. Counterfeiting holograms is easier than getting that genuine homeless dude pubez aftertaste, which I suppose is a combination of regret and orgasm.

Anyway, the yakuza who control the homeless dude pubez market don't want this to get out, because they know that there are foreign homeless dudes who are willing to work less than the industry standard approx $500 an ounce. Market price for homeless dude pubez in Tokyo is like $10,000 an ounce.

You thought Kobe beef was special? ...Ha!

  6.

I was using Sennheiser HD280 Pro's, but the right speaker went quieter than the left for some unknown reason.

Weird, I've gone through two pairs over the last year and they've both done the same.

Anyway, I've had 4 pairs of HD280 Pro and I love them, but I recently bought a pair of Beyerdynamics DT 770 Pro (250 Ohm) and I haven't looked back since.

HD590 also had that problem (left side).  Sennheiser makes fantastic headphones, but maybe they got some quality control problems with their soldering/plugs/whatever.  Or maybe the sonics are so tight, that they tear apart the fabric of time and space, rendering one side of their headphones wonky.

  7.

That's a Roland S-760 sampler that I haven't hooked up in my setup yet, so I'm not sure how well it works.

    http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/clouzeau/s760/

It came with that monitor with no casing, a mouse, a SCSI hard drive, and a bunch of ripped sample CDs. The terminologies and workflow seems archaic and unique, but I'm eager to get it going. I traded a Midiverb to a friend for it.

    That monitor is cyberpunk af

Yah, seriously.  Looks badass, but I wouldn't want to touch it when it's on...
