Good news from the GB newsletter:
Next month we'll have the Advisory Circle's incredible Mind How You Go (Revised Edition) on CD and check our website and blog soon for news of new releases, new collaborators and news about the next Belbury Youth Club night.
Yeah, just got this newsletter, I'll gladly buy it again on CD. 'Seance At Hobs Lane' has been repressed too for anyone who might be missing it.
I somehow doubt the Belbury Youth Club Night will be coming to Norwich though, dunno why.

The Advisory Circle, 'Mind How You Go (Revised Edition)'. Actually got it when it was released, but that's the most recent.

Shitmat, 'Big Ben's Big Breakdown'.

And kaini, did you check out Moon Wiring Club's ASDA mix? Definitely one for the 30+ WATMMer.
Great mix (yes, I am over 30 ) I really like that he included the "tape cover" with tracklist.
That was spot-on, the design was perfect and rounded it all off very nicely. And thanks again, I think it was your good self put me on to that mix in the first place.

From what I remember art prints were on sale at the The New Spirit Happening in Scotland. I'd possibly swap my entire Fall collection for one of those above.

it was really grey and dreary out, and every track seemed to fit the moment perfectly.
I get that feeling from it too (not that I think the album's dreary), I can see exactly where you're coming from. I'm not sure if I just get that suggestion from the front cover, which also seems perfect.

Quixote is one of my favourite RDJ tracks ever. But I've always felt that it should have actually closed the album instead of being second to last (on the original UK version).

The download area of Greedbag seems to be unavailable tonight, bugger.
I managed to download it, but that was a few hours ago
Me too now, no problems with it tonight.

imagine a non-imaginary new soundtrack to one of the quatermass movies
This has to be done, it could be the apogee for GB. I agree that's a very insightful interview, I never made a connection with John Wyndham before but now it seems obvious. Think Chocky and the Midwich Cuckoos especially. And if anyone were to take an interest in GB, the old cliche of 'just get everything' couldn't apply more. Still a fairly small back catalogue I'll grant you, but the only label I can think of whose every release is absolutely essential.

The Black Dog, 'Floods v3.9'.

Please, post away to your heart's content! I had heard something about this collab in the past (from kaini, iirc), but thought it had been shelved. Glad that's still on, from their description it sounds like it could end up as being definitive GB. I think some collab with Moon Wiring Club would be amazing too. I wouldn't be completely surprised if that came about, even more so because of this. I've never wished that I lived in Birmingham so much.

No! Thank you for the heads up, you've just got me very excited, I never knew a thing about it. And I found the podcast a while ago, I agree it's shit-hot. As for the next GB, I'd be interesting to hear the next step for The Focus Group after the Broadcast collab.
Edit: I got so excited in fact that I failed to the preceding posts. Thanks dudes, this is all amazing stuff.

Pint sized cans of Stella. While home alone on the internet, fml.
And a Wispa, so not all bad.

apparently my copy comes early because its from japan.
Same here, if HMV Japan is to be believed. Delay and deliver, that's my motto.

Dead Kennedys, 'Ill In The Head'.

All of these Oversteps threads seem to be merging into one big mess of premature fanboy ejaculations.

this thread is accumulating pages faster than I can read them
Just curious, but is anyone else planning to hold onto their oversteps virginity until the album release or an official download becomes available? I haven't listened to anything (fake or not) yet and am leaning in that direction
Yep. Absolutely. All this leak gayness put me off three fake Oversteps ago.
I'm holding out as well. If nothing else, I've spent too much preordering different versions to just blow my load prematurely with some shitty leak, genuine or not. Hang in there guys, the pop shot will be worth it cum March.

There's an ace mix that Moon Wiring Club did for Wire here: http://www.thewire.co.uk/articles/3623/. Excellent artwork too.

Rumble Fish (Stewart Copeland)
Ghosts... Of The Civil Dead (Nick Cave, Mick Harvey and Blixa Bargeld), amazing film as well, not seen it years now but I've never forgotten it. Wish to fuck it could be released on DVD.
2001: A Space Odyssey
The Exorcist
The last two are soundtracks rather than scores, but they do the same job I suppose.
