  1. What would you lot have done in the old days before these internets and leaks and newfangled what-have-you? When records were announced months in advance and then you had to wait painfully til the day of release before owning or sometimes even hearing them? Fuckall, that's what, 'cause you'd all have been working up t'chimneys, or in t'pit instead.

  2. There's now a release date for the revised edition of Mind How You Go. You can preorder it from here which also gets you a free download of the album (I'd imagine on the release date or thereabouts, but I'm not sure).

EDIT: Didn't read the blurb properly, the download will be delivered to your inbox the Wednesday before the vinyl's released.

  3. my point was that it was being released almost 3 weeks before the ones we all pre-ordered

I agree, it's a bastard, and I knew what you meant. Personally I just expect this to happen with each release from artists like Ae whose bonus tracks have always been exclusive (not the case with all Japanese releases, or even Warp releases in Japan), and it's my own choice to end up spending a fortune on one release like a dickhead (more fool me). And the pre-order at bleep can still be cancelled, I think, if that's an issue (not double-checked that though).

  4. there's streaming/download (limited time only) links on the blog

Cool, thanks. Being looking to download these as I've missed them all so far. Moon Wiring Club and Nigel Kneale's 'Minuke' available now as well, which I imagine you'll be particularly interested in.

  5.

    Rephlex:

    > Mental Union is the first part in a future series.

    > Hence the EP pricing.

edit: that also explains why the cat number is CAT 213-A

Sorry, I just added more jizz to this thread. Also, is anyone else shelling out for any older stuff? Apart from the Analords everyone just seems excited by Aleksi Perala and Wisp. I overlooked the J.P. Buckle album up there before which still sounds great, and I'm going get myself into more debt today to download the Amen Andrews EPs.

  6. all releases are cheap as hell

the quality is better then all vinyl rips on the net

    you get wav too

    + extra tracks

wtf is not ok with that?

Agreed. I would've still eventually bought the Analords all over again anyway (instead of having bought them all today) for this reason, even without any extra tracks.

  7.

Also, i think rephlex respect the buyer coz their digi release costs LESS than the physical one. if you buy a whole WAV album on juno, beatport its almost the price of the cd, without physical, artwork etc. respect 4 that.

I'm impressed as well that with a lot of releases so far you can choose MP3s or WAVs or both, and no extra charge depending on what format you want.

  8. Okay Mental Union is absurdly good. I don't know how much more cum I have inside me... :(

yeah, totally. big fan since 1999 but this latest one is fabulous.

Mental Union is excellent, but I'm preferring the stuff on Boom Blaster. That's in for some serious rotation.

And Man, I would fucking love to see the vinyl only tracks from Weirs up for grabs.

  9. Snivel Chew isn't on Analord 06 where it should be, whats the deal?

I just noticed the same thing, at first it was there but it wasn't linked to a mp3 but to a link saying

"Sorry but the file ANALORD 06 - AFX - Snivel Chew (Stereo Version).mp3 is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

And now they deleted it. So I guess it will be back up soon.

Oh okay, as long as it appears at some point. Thanks for the info.

You probably know anyway by now, but it seems Snivel Chew is back up in Analord 6.
