  1. Ok, I need some clearance on the subject, what's the deal with this badger cover ? I thought it was the official artwork but someone said it had the wrong warp logo so it was most likely fake but now joyrex put it on the background and I can't find anything about it anywhere else. I'm confused.

  2.

Now this one is more intriguing because it was uploaded weeks before the announcement and is the only video on the channel.

You can change the title of your video + the description, that's all it is.

    Only convincing Syro vid IMO:

Ok I wasnt sure of that, but the channel was opened on that day, it has no more videos and on a second listen it's quite good.

  3. Honestly I don't care that much about Syro now that I know Rephlex is supossedly going down. Very dissapointed. Im going to be in a sad mood while listening to the album. I've been following the label for 15 years, lots of hidden gems on there, some of the weirdest shit next to some of the cheesiest shit next to some of the highest quality shit, plus the up and coming new signups: Wisp, JK, EOD, Dave Monolith, Steinvord... the former two just started with killer releases. I guess we'll never see the digital Steinvord release now... I can't find music like that anywhere else. I wish Richard gave a big "fuck you" to the industry and released his new album on Rephlex, even if it meant less exposure. His name is powerful enough now that he would still generate tons of profits. It would help lots of unknown people on there as well since as a result they would check out the label catalogue more than if he continues putting out the major stuff in Warp, which has a lot of crappy artists and the rest are stablished already. They wanted Drukqs on Rephlex after all. Would've loved to see his masterpiece being released on Rephlex which is a much more real and intimate label than Warp. I guess Richard has to sell himself off a bit to gain bigger exposure, he has kids to feed now I guess...

I agree, even the artwork fits better in the rephlex spectrum.

  4. I wish one of the following albums comes with the ferret & stencil artwork

I'm actually bummed about Syro's confirmed artwork. Looks like shit to me compared to that one.

  5.

Yeah, if the sequence is to be respected, I don't think our generation is ready for what is to come.

Are we going to blow up or something? Release our bowels at the sound? :)

    I hope so

  6.

What's with this "it's been 13 years" crap ppl (including news sources)? Even ignoring The Tuss (a grave and unforgivable error), the last "Aphex Twin" release was Analord 10, in 2005.

... Which also makes me think this could be like the best thing ever. Can you imagine an entire album of Fenix Funk- and xmd5a-quality stuff?

Trying to be realistic though. But even "quite good" by AFX stds would be worth all the hype...

tuss is better than fenix funk in the scheme of things, like my memory. Which is shady and listened to the tuss a lot more recently over the past few years at least in frequency.

/relistens to fenix funk and prepares for an eat words sandwich (because words are at best a condiment to a balanced diet).

Those two are the best analord tracks. They are lush. Tuss is QUITE GOOD but none of it reaches that level, maybe rushup bank 12 at best.

Here, take this plate of subjectivity in your face.

  7. Also just finished this video of a really cold but very beautiful day, when me and a friend took a de-tour around town before the usual snow cannon-check, just because the weather was so damn nice! Some awesome shots of thin ice breaking, and small paths forming in the river.

this is perfect. Thank you. I could feel the cold on my face.
