I'm not a big fan of most vaporwave stuff, but this album has been blowing my mind for the last week. It's pretty much vaporwave + trap + R & B samples, which sounds awful in theory, but is put together in a fun way that's actually insanely catchy and even a little emotional. Not sure if you guys have heard of Giant Claw - He's new to me but seems to be hugely prolific.

I awlays lsiten to it with an open mind and fresh new ears. Mostly because I always fall asleep after the 5th track.
When this happens to me, I usually never listen again to the album. I guess you persevere only because it's Aphex Twin?

First of, it's not horrible, you're exaggerating.
Secondly, someone brought up clark because you've been gushing his shit on the forum whilst he's doing worst things (on the same style). But I guess that is also subjective.

Exactly this.Hate to say it, but have heard Syro only 5 times, haven't heard it for two weeks and I haven't had any urge to hear it again...
I love some of the tracks in it, but I have over 1k tracks to listen to... no time left for multiple listens.
And I don't really feel the urge either, iunno, it's odd.
