"i'm a drug counselor...trying to talk kids into sensible drug use"
yeah I have a feeling that if I didn't read the book I would've been completely lost.
great movie though

Replaying this right now

So where will this project go from here? The ks reserve obviously wasn't met, but i vaguely remember reading somewhere that there were alternatives to make this happen.
Stay tuned, folks - everyOne might still be in for a surprise or two...

anyone here ever see a movie called Enter the Void? it's pretty fucked up.
Ye good flick. Dig the long scenes
Wouldn't watch again unless i was high though
yeah I don't really have any desire to watch it again, at least not for a while.
it started to get repetitive later on when the camera zoomed into some object every few minutes. those opening credits are amazing though.

Re-uploaded my files again; no new music obviously but I went through the Soundcloud page once more and added the new/updated artwork and comments since my last uploads.
Thanks for compiling these.

documentary about nas' illmatic album. tbh, i really enjoyed the history of nas' parents (how they met etc and that nas' father played trumpet on one of the album songs) and about queensbridge projects. the rest seemed like they were reaching a lil' bit and could've been over in just a few minutes, but of course we gotta get into how they're teaching a hiphop class @ havard and part of the course is studying illmatic...
there should be a class dedicated entirely to studying method man's solo track on 36 chambers

they're all pretty good for different reasons.
really like 7, 3, 4 and 6... 1 and 2. and 5.
guess i'm going to have to buy them all then.

Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino
This is a good one - have you ever read any Borges?
Finished Remains of the Day a few weeks ago and now in the process of reading Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which is great so far.

haven't heard any of these except for level 3, which I purchased yesterday.
how does everyone rank the levels? wondering which one to get next, as I really like 3.

Yeah, I binged on it this week. It's pretty good, and does a pretty good job of keeping things interesting. The past couple episodes have been a bit drawn out, imo, but not too bad. They'd better start heading towards some kind of conclusion soon-ish, though. Not sure it has any ability for longevity unless there's some new bits of info...
I'll not discuss the finer points since it seems there's people who've not heard it here so... yeah. Let me know when we can spoiler-chat
Won't be too long now - if I'm not mistaken there are only two episodes left.

Pretty addicting podcast about a murder case that took place in the late nineties:

saw Boyhood recently and it's probably my favorite movie from this year (although i'm fairly certain Inherent Vice will change that).

playing SSB4 3ds right now, but its the demo, cant wait for 2 weeks
i messed around with the demo for a bit last night. seems like it will be more fun than Brawl, but at the same time it feels a little too similar (visually at least).

I just played a bloke in an online game who was apparently from northern florida who soon claimed his controller wasn't working and basically rage quit as I was beating him. the plot thickens
