Late on this part of the conversation (real work getting in the way!) but to clarify: I'd expect Warp to own the copyrights for the recordings on their albums, but RDJ to own copyrights in the compositions themselves. So RDJ couldn't put out girl/boy on Rephlex, but he could re-record a wholly new version based on the music he wrote. But I admit music law/industry practice is maddenly complex and something I'm glad I don't have to deal with often.

Surely RDJ owns the copyrights to his own songs, but Warp might have exclusive distribution rights to certain ones, and that language might reach to alternative versions too.

Highly unlikely that he's deliberately pacing out posts based on audience reaction or anything like that. Sorting and digitizing all those tracks takes time, so does uploading them, and then there's general life stuff.

What's very interesting is he chose to release all this at the same time CCAI EP came out... I'm not sure if this is going to hurt or help sales... I almost wished he had released it all via Bandcamp so we could pay our own price or buy it for a set fee... But in one of the earlier track comments he said "I hate money" although I assume at least partially sarcastically

Slight problem and I wonder if anyone else has it - I'm not longer getting email notification for all of the new uploads even though I'm still following his account. I didn't get email notification for the bank track or hapshifter. Anyone else?

Can I strongly recommend making a Soundcloud account and just following his account? The email notifications are quite reliable.

I did notice that when you last posted it HJ but I'm glad you're re-posting. Definitely answers the mystery. And, without HD versions, I think there's still reason to officially release in the future.

Don't worry about causticwindow account - it was not RDJ. I mean, I believe that track snippet is RDJ, but it's one of many such snippets released on the Tuss myspace account days. Nothing new.

Wow, can't believe we're still getting new tracks tonight! Also, I think we can legitimately discount the causticwindow account as bunk. Only things posted were Wisp Teddy Oggy and that same old clip from the old Tuss era myspace samples. I do think much of those were legit though (including that 58 second clip). Proven by 180db.
