Anyone have any levels uploaded? Hit up those IDs, I'd like to play em.

I've only made one course so far. Nothing too extreme but pretty difficult. Some precise jumps in it but nothing too gnarly.

Very nice! Yes, precise jumps are definitely the order of the day, but you didn't make anything too unfair. The one thing that I'd say is that you have one section where you have no chance of passing unless you use the koopa shell to kill the plants, and that's a bit unfair because since that's a green koopa, it can walk off of the platform that you need to kick it from, making it impossible to pass that area if you miss it. It's not that big of a deal because your first instinct should be to kick it to the right, but I'd say on the off-chance that someone would jump over it or let it walk off, you should change it to a red koopa. Otherwise, awesome stage!

    Super mario bros 3 level,

Haven't played any of watmms super mario makers levels / watmm kids's levels yet but i promise to get around to it real soon guys just been real busy recently working on soome really exciting shit behind the scenes !! *spam *spam *spam spam*

This stage is really well-designed. It's pretty and not too different from an official Nintendo stage. I have no criticisms of it. I had fun with it!

It should be a red koopa! It flies straight up and down, so when you knock its head it can only go down where you need it to, I made sure of that. Unless there is a glitch/error when uploading and it's changed. I'll check it later! Look forward to playing all y'all's stages.

  2. i think there is a huge misconception around benefit fraud, in fact (according to my sources) only 0.7% of claims are fraudulent.

but I also read elsewhere that the amount of benefits that go unclaimed balances out even this amount (can't find source).

This makes some sense. Most/everyone I know that has been on JSA haven't claimed for a long time before they finally claimed it.

But I think there's a difference between pure 'fraud' I'm a legal sense and the lazy fucks who abuse the system (just go into any job centre in the UK to see these people, any time of the day and there will be examples of this). Same thing for child benefits from the people that push out more ugly sprogs than they actually want just to claim. In a legal sense is it fraud? No, but they know they are doing it to claim the cash.

  3. Finished Cities of the Red Night by Burroughs. It stays surprisingly cohesive for most of the book (though still difficult to follow), though the further you read into it the more it blurs and by the end little makes sense.

I read the 2nd in the 'trilogy' (The Place of Dead Roads) first which I didn't know much about at the time and it was hard as hell to make sense of anything (but still loved it).

This time around I knew more of what I was getting in to and it makes it a slightly easier read. I particularly liked the occult detective story portions of the book, which were also the most straight forward.

Burroughs is a mad genius for sure. Not sure if I'm ready to tackle some of his more cut up works (Naked Lunch etc). The first few pages of that just made my head hurt.

it's a corporate attempt to insert an energy drink brand into underground culture for no other reason than to sell energy drinks and increase brand awareness. For someone who is a fan of industrial music/throbbing gristle you should automatically understand why this type of corporate bullshit is bad, and ultimately not good for the health of a scene.

Apparently RBMA is actually owned by Red Bull. I was not aware that they were actually associated with one another.

    Post of the year

Hoooolllyyyyy shit Johnny boy must be red in the face right about now.
  5. Reading a translated copy of Catch 22. I was worried some of the humor was going to get lost in translation but the first chapter has made me laugh already so it's all good

Easily one of the best books I've read. Enjoy it.

Just want to get a post in here early before this thread becomes 300 pages long.

I'm psyched too but not sure about all the weird concept stuff. Just gimme the music yo.

wheet ! the concept is the interesting stuff man , there is enough music without thougts & ideas.

It's too much for me to keep up with. I enjoy a concept behind an album if it's presented as a part of it, not so much if it is splattered all over social media.
  7. I've finally started playing through The Witcher 2 after buying it 2 years ago, playing half the prologue, deciding it was shit and putting it down. I'm enjoying it much more this time but there is so much wrong with it. Clunky as shit menu systems, infrequent auto-saves, hit-and-run fighting tactics and slooooow loading. Just beat the kingslayer for the first time but had to put the difficulty down to easy to do it because the autosave saves at the start of the fight because I had shit armour, a shit weapon equiped, couldn't drink any potions/meditate and didn't want to reload from my last save because I have no idea how far behind it was. Plus he kills me in 2 hits and he can't be hurt when he uses the armor spell... Aaaaaandd his attacks cause poison and bleeding. It wouldnt be so bad it it didnt take so long to reload between deaths. I also missed something in the plot so I'm confused about something (why did the kingslayer want the elf guy? I thought they were pals?)

I feel like I need to grind and get some money to get better armor/weapons if I am going to continue but don't really feel like taking time to do it and I'm not sure if I want to continue playing. I might re-start. I unno.
