  2. OOooohh, didn't notice this pic, you got one of those spinny midi controller things that look a bit like a HD. How is it to use?
  3. Studio sucks, where's the overflowing ashtray, and also there is no space for a coffee cup. So lame. The studio although looks a lot of fun - its just overkill. Half those synths do the same thing or are superseded by another synth. In real terms having 20-40 bits of hardware is just stoopid 'cause a lot of them will overlap each other in terms of what you can get from them. I think more now than ever that less is more. To be fair, if you check the guys website he explains that he buys the synths not as musical instruments as such, more because he has a technical interest in the workings of them. Its fair enough to be honest. If I had a shed load of cash I'd buy a shed load of synths. None the less, still doesn't change the fact that there is no space for a coffee cup to go, and imo coffee is an essential studio item.

  5. yeah, was thinking the same, except you should be able to see the logo.. Might be scratched off or taped across or something. I think the Boss Pedal on the top right is a noise suppressor/noise gate. I got one of these and it's the same silvery colour, same 3 knobs as well. Not sure about the others, one looks like an old MXR phaser, but not sure. the thing with the top missing looks very much like a Denon radio receiver my dad used to have, doubt very much that it is though. Also there's the mouse and a bit of keyboard on the right of the screen, not very good at IDing old computers, but Id guess it's an Amiga. anyways, it's all not plugged in. mime to daddy, I mime because you do etc..
  6. LOL, shouldve uploaded the ones I took in Detroit last year. You couldve had GTA and half life too. Ah well... For me the thing with HDR.. Since about 6 I have had incredibly bad eyesight thanks to very severe keratoconus. Up until 14 I was pretty much blind in my left eye, and my right eye isn't much better. I had corneal transplants in both eyes which has improved my vision a lot, but its still rubbish. I squint like a mole. My vision is too screwy to be rectified with glasses (they make me see well focused double vision) and my eyes are too out of shape for contact lenses. Did have Scleral Lenses for a while, but they hurt like hell and expensive. As my eyes continue to degrade, the shape and perscriptions change. Would mean shelling out +£500 for a new set of lenses each year. Cannot afford. Anyways, the point is, HDR photographs give me the same feeling as I got on the few occasions when I hae been able to see properly. I remember the first time I tried Scleral Lenses, I looked at a carpet and it was the first time I could see that it was made of loads of individual fibers. I get the same kinda feeling from these pics. I understand people saying HDR looks like computer games, but compared to my eyesight, real life looks like a computer game.
  7. Went on a little road trip round the UK a month back. Took a bunch of photos while I was away. Got some i really like, only thing was I didnt realise my sensor was dirty till I got home. All of them have annoying dirt on them. Planning on getting my mitts on CS5 to try that fancy removal stuff, but for now, figured id share a couple anyways.. Cottage, somewhere in the Scottish Highlands Falkirk Wheel Fourth Rail Bridge Ludlow Castle York Minster w/ Fisheye York Rail Museum Beachy Head :edit... yar despite the hate, I like HDR =D
  8. Wow man, that's a pretty awesome pic!!! would not have guessed it was taken with a camera phone! Did you do a lot of PS editing to it afterwards, or have you got some app for photo effects? well impressive, I'll try and get a few of mine up later, I'm not particularly good, but I enjoy it a lot.
  9. Couldn't get everything in one shot, but you get the idea. Its a bit of an old pic. Had a small move about since taking it to make space for a few more bits and some treatment too.
  10. nice looking pics! Last one looks like a still from a horror film, like you're about to strangle the keyboard. All thats missing is black leather stranglin' gloves
  11. Midi'd up a typewritter once, used some piezo's sent into gate/pitch detection in Reaktor. Result was "interesting" Kinca cool though, looked like a 1950's Tim Exile
