Satantango, in cinema. With 2 breaks. Haven't seen it before, it's magnificent. Loved everything about the whole thing, mr. Tarr himself was there for Q&A afterwards, he's incredible.

*reopens Doom/Stoner investigation case files*
What non-doom/stoner metal bands do you dig?

I'm seeing Satantango in a cinema in 3 weeks.

I know what you mean. Mad's character really clicked with me, to a level that I was completely absorbed, emotionally, in his situation. I guess it's not really easy to relate to characters like his, especially in a movie as sparse and grim like this one. But it totally worked for me and I loved it, I was on the edge of my seat from first minute to the last. Yeah, I should probably stop recommending this movie :)

eugene did you watch Michael Kohlhaas?
edit: aka Age of Uprising

This is my posture.

Chinatown. Wow, just wow. That's probably a 10/10.

Yeah I'm serious.

Watched Aliens last night. I remembered that movie being fucking awesome, but... it's not. It was actually quite boring. Alien on the other hand, now there's a movie!
I know right? Even Resurrection is a better movie than Aliens.

Yeah, he is! You'll either love or hate the movie though, it seems it's one of those polarizing flicks. I absolutely loved it, a 10/10.
Don't watch the trailer though, it spoils everything.

Have you seen Age of Uprising?

Space Dandy, baby!

I love grand designs!

Haha now that's humble :)

Michael Kohlhaas (aka Age of Uprising): 10/10
Don't watch the trailer. It's a dark, gritty medieval story about justice, love and a man. Everything about this movie is right, for me at least.

Watched "Joe". I guess it's kinda allright, especially for all you nic cage fans on here. I absolutely hated the last 10 or so minutes though, serious cringe inducing cheese. This movie really could be heavy and gritty and painful. The (non)actor that played dad, that's some real shit though.

People are still talking Snowpiercer as a masterpiece and I really don't get it. I really don't. I know I've talked about this before, but it still baffles me that so many people have so much love for that film. Maybe I've watched too many Korean movies and therefore expected more than what I got, but even thinking about it as a non-Korean movie it's still a terrible movie.
Just watched this. What the hell? Am I missing something?

Parcs recreation, I remember trying with first few eps, was horrible.
Watching true detective, 5 eps so far. It is very good. I generally hate most series, but this one is excellent so far.

Bad Neighbours - 5/10 When will this assortment of limp dick douches accept that they need Apatow in their corner.
Escape Plan - 6/10 When will this assortment of iconic musclemen accept that with a decent script this could have been awesome. Failed opportunity.
Grand Budapest - 9/10 When will Wes Craven stop making me fall for his quirky cinematic style. AAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!
I think Grand Budapest is the shittiest movie Wes (Craven) Anderson made so far. I have no doubt the next one will be even worse.

The Grand Budapest Hotel - Fantastic

Godard made a 3D movie, Goodbye to Language. Anybody seen it?

Yes this is good, watched it recently. No, they don't show Miyazaki cooking for the team.
