  1. Still in full time education. Don't intend to work a day of my life. Just going to live in a cabin in the woods and eat bugs and write poetry. 21st century life is all about efficiency, productivity and rushing, no wonder our lives seem to pass by so quick. We never seem to have a moment in the day where we can reflect on and soak in the day's activities. I only began realising this as I spent more time in nature, for the first time in forever I had felt the sentation of not having any deadlines or worries in the back of my mind. I simply existed in the moment and it was the best feeling in my life. We all begin burning the candle at both ends in our early teens and I suspect we'll all be one foot in the grave by the time we retire, considering the average age of retirement is in the 70s (in the UK at least), added with the fact that hardly any jobs pay a living wage anymore. I'll be living with my parents until I'm 40 with a degree where miners were once able to support a family off of one income. I can't say I'm too optimistic.

  2. Thought I'd ask here as you'll all be well read, is there a name for the concept of something no longer existing in its non-physical form? (Like how if someone dies, they technically still exist as photos and memories, but they would completely cease to exist if everyone they ever knew died and the photos were destroyed).

That would explain this horrible cavity on my back molar (hopefully a root canal won't be required by the time I finally get in for my appointment, which is more than a month away).

I'm so paranoid about having tooth problems to the point that I've almost completely cut juice, fizzy drinks, sweets and chocolate out of my diet.

Get a PS4 Pro - that way your hardware will last a bit longer (and you get the benefits of 4K gaming, etc.)

She's probably getting ready for a senior living centre at this point...

I'd love to and it'd be better in the long run but I don't have the money for the Pro ?

Glad to be getting a console soon though, will be super convenient for my uni dorm and I'll be able to use spotify and netflix on it as opposed to using my laptop in bed which is fucking my posture up.

On a side note does anyone have any PS4 exclusive recommendations? Bloodborne and that spiderman game look really good.

Yeah, PS4 has better exclusives, Xbox has game pass.

Next gen machines before Christmas though, so if you wait you can get something that will last you a while, or you can probably pick up a PS4 or Xbox dirt cheap since everyone will be upgrading

Yeah no way in hell I'll be able to afford the PS5 so I'll stick with a PS4. I was going to go with PS4 and yours and Rubin's posts confirmed that so thanks! PS4s are going at around £220 new on Amazon which isn't bad so I'll probably go for that.

I was introduced to Yves Tumor via the fact that one of my favorite musicians, James Ferraro, was featured on his last LP. I didn't discover his early sound collage ambient type stuff till later on. So his poppy stuff is what I really love his music for. But I do really like his first album "When Man Fails You."

I discovered him in late 2018 as he was the supporting for sadboys and drain gang on their wings of desire London show.

Wow. I watched the video w/ sound on low and felt kind of meh ("where's the drums"?) then listened to this later on headphone + in the car at full tilt volume. Really fallen in love with this track, makes me pretty excited for what the full album will sound like, def the most I've been hyped for a rock album in some time. . .

Same here, the track has seriously grown on me recently, the vibe of the minimalist instrumental with the really nice vocal delivery really resonates well with me. Although I really like 2001-2006 Strokes, I totally understand them switching to a cleaner sound.
