  1. people were saying same thing about trump being against the status quo and having what it took to shake things up. turns out when trump said "i want to build a wall" he meant actually wasting money on building a wall. i believe when pfeffel johnson said "we're going to leave european union no matter what it takes", i believe he means he will try to leave the european union no matter what it takes.

I can't be arsed to look it up, but is the 'drift' issue a mechanical one (e.g., the components in the analogue sticks are failing) or is it software-related, or does it have to do with the wireless tech (presumably some form of Bluetooth or proprietary 2.4 Ghz)?

"Joy-Con drift is an issue that Switch owners have been encountering over the last few months that causes the analog sticks on the controllers to randomly move around and input commands to the console, even when they’re not being physically moved. PHANTOM INPUTS Anecdotally, the issue seems to affect left Joy-Con controllers (which tend to be used for movement in most games) more than the right half of the controller set. Although, there are reports of users experiencing it on both joysticks."

Finally finished Breath of the Wild. Amazing game. So much variety. I tried to do everything, but started having trouble finding the last shrines, so gave up. Fight with Ganon wasn't nearly as cool as Ocarina of Time though.

Only frustrating part is my new pro controller has the drift problem everyone has been talking about.

.. i think the pro controller >is not< what everyone is referring to, and that issue is more specific to joycons. for me, distance from switch to joycons plays a big part (ie. over 3m and forget it). but pro controller is generally fine. (((edit::: seems this isn't what Joycon drift is.. and this is just joycons being joycons).

nintendo generally have pretty good customer support if you call them. or maybe try a replacement from where you got it from ?

  4. just got an Akai GX-M10.

not really had a tape deck before since i was a kid so not familiar with what to expect from quality. background hum + kind of muffled audio. is this about right? google suggests q-tips and alcohol cleaning the heads is the way to go for a clean.

what I hope most though is that they dont let what anyone else wants influence what they do because nobody else is on their level to know what's best to go for next anyway

me too. this or amber 2.

    amber 2 would be good.

  6. XHK - XH HX / KXH is not even remotely Gescom.. unless it's labelled as such or suggested to be considered part of the Gescom project. XHK purely seems to be its own thing that doesn't fit neatly into pre-existing releases. this is how conspiracy theories come about. people trying to force order and explanation into things which don't necessarily have order or don't make sense.

    flep is good.

I know - I wonder if Chosen Lords was just a "eh, we'll make a few squid off this easy" release during the twilight Rephlex years...

i had vinyl rips burnt onto 3xCDrs with all the tracks just dumped in 1-11 order, and would listen to those all the time

(2005 really was a long time ago, huh).

I'm sure if Analord was released in a more coherent user-friendly way it would be more appreciated.

Analord is his best material which will grow on you over time imo. A fine tapestry of work.

Chosen Lords sucks. Analord EPs all the way.

would prob be good if the EPs were on streaming platforms and aphex store tho..

( actually i take it back. Chosen Lords is fine. )
