I was at the London gig on Saturday. It sounds like they did mostly the same, although I Think It's Disgusting was the intermission track on a loop. Sound and visuals were awesome. Encore was exactly the same. I don't care for their newer stuff so Spicy and Dirty Rat are lost on me, but the place went wild when Satan hit (A mix of the original, spawn version and then slowed the main hook into Beelzedub. Pretty epic). They know how to do it live that's for sure. Agree the encore should have been comprised of their main EP tracks of that era though. First half of the Brown album was the best part for sure.

The dude who did the soundtrack to the original game and contributed to 2097 as well has remasters of all his tracks on bandcamp...
The original Wipeout and 2097 were probably my most played PS1 games.

There seemed to be a trend in the early 00s onwards of a lot of bands deciding to make shorter tracks instead of the lengthier tracks they were known for during the 90s. No surprise that much of the quality of their work from then on went down the toilet with that decision.

It's a lot better than Monsters Exist, but nothing spectacular. Sits somewhere around the more generic Orbital sounding Wonky and Blue Album.

I was hyped when the first one came out, but a decade later of force fed badly written CGI junk food, I have no real intention of even watching it.

Confield has it's moments, but Chiastic all the way for me

Cautiously somewhat optimistic about this one (not listening to the singles out already). One thing's for sure, the artwork reminds me of the lovely psychedelic kitsch of In Sides
As did the last album cover (and it's title). It all harks back to the era when they were at their peak, but unfortunately lacks anything anywhere near as good in terms of the strong, quality tunes they were putting out at that time.

I was pleasantly surprised. Certainly a step up from the last one.

Found the video. A good watch for his views on remixing. At around 3:10 he talks about the Belfast remix.

No idea on their logic for choice of remixers. There are much better these days that could do a so much better job.
But saying that, their remix tastes have always been all over the place. Sasha did a remix of Belfast years back, but got rejected by them for being too far removed from the original. Sasha later released it himself as 'Belfunk'.
The whole thing just smacks of the same old tracks with fatter beats for current times anyway.

It's cheddar cheese af. Just use that opportunity to go for a piss or get a beer. You will get Satan after that, so best not to disappear entirely.
