  1. I just had a boring lunch break so I decided to crunch some Ae numbers.

Total output since Exai came out equals 51.02944 hours or 2 days, 3 hours, 1 minute, and 46 seconds.

I got 19 hours, 31 minutes, 18 seconds of non-live stuff, and then added it to 1 day, 7 hours, 30 minutes, and 28 seconds of live shows.

I'm pretty sure I included everything. My list of non live stuff was the following:

Exai + keyosc, L-event, JNSN/spl47, SIGN + n cur, PLUS, elseq 1-5, NTS Session 1-4, Warp Tapes, and lastly syptixed from that Bleep compilation

  2. After sitting with the preorder for a week or so and now listening to it again today, I have to say this album fuckin rules. Bear in mind, if I had to give you my fave Ae album before this it would be either Oversteps or Untilted. It's just a sonic cavalcade that really unfurls after a few listens.

M4 Lema is an amazing opener and it feels like their rig is just getting going in the beginning. This is probably my favorite "beat" track on the album. The end reminds me a bit of Altibzz.

F7 is reminiscent of known(1), a personal favorite of mine. This has some Bronchusevenmx vibes as well near the back half.

si00 is growing on me, a little too bubbly

esc desc is an amazing ambient swell

au14 reminds me of elseq/NTS output

Metaz form8 is a true highlight. Someone else described this like Vangelis and I can see it. This is hauntingly beautiful sci-fi if I've ever heard it

sch.mefd2 is decent, again remins me of elseq/NTS, with maybe a hint of Move Of Ten

gr4 is a cool little diddy, a great headphone piece with lots of great stereo phasing, sounds a little generative

th red A is another fave of mine. Those real buzzy stabs and the deep deep bass that comes through periodically is a pleasure

psin AM begins like a sped up "Everything You Do Is A Balloon" by boc, but this is a good chill down piece

r cazt easily has to be their best album closer since idk when, and that is a tough feat. YJY UX is masterful, Yuop is an amazing one, but this transcends all of them and really pummels you

Agreed, although a single with associated video is fine (aka minipops)

Although of course ae have never followed the traditional singles from album route.

Gantz Graf was their only "single" release I think? Or is it an ep

    Sure

Basscadet may count as a "single" release, even got a music video too

Are they approachable for SIGNing? Ive never managed to find them after gigs or was too anxious to go deep(er) into backstage. ?

also, i never knew what would i say actually bc i have so much to say ?

I chatted with them briefly after the gig in Portsmouth NH in 2015. The crazy thing for me was I was at the Boston gig the night before and when I met them outside the Portsmouth venue, the first thing Rob did was point to me and say “You were at the gig last night!”

They were chill, friendly, and approachable
