    PS+ is fantastic. I love it.

     

    I finished Infamous: Second Son. It was better than I thought it would be. It was great, in fact. Really good graphics, great gameplay, good, simple story. I'll play through with evil karma sometime later on. For now i have Thief to play through. I grabbed it for $26, taxes included from the PS-Store with a PS+ discount. Should be good fun.

     

    I'm also playing a lot of WoW.

    So Staples in Canada is no longer selling console games and hardware. So they were selling off all of their stock for discounted clearance prices. I got Infamous: Second Son brand new for $29. Which is awesome cuz games in Canada went up in price and are usually $69 brand new. So I paid less than half of the price than the same game next door. It seems like a pretty cool game so far. The graphics are really quite nice.

    Good to hear you're having fun with AC4: Black Flag. I had a blast with it. Best pirate ship emulation on the market to date.

     

    I never liked the AC multiplayer. I wish there were no multiplayer trophies required to get the platinum. I have to pop it in, go back, and grab a few more trophies from the campaign.

     

    I haven't been trophy hunting in a long time now. I'm playing far too much WoW. Oh well, at least I'm having fun with it.

    playing the new wolfenstein. it's pretty cool, except fucking sewer levels whyyyyyy? WHY are sewer levels still a thing? has anyone ever had fun playing a sewer level? shit no.

    I wanted to be smart and tell you about a sewer level that was fun (cos im cool like that) but no, you're right they are always shitty (no pun intended)

     

     

    Half-Life 2 sewer wasn't so bad.

    the first one's just a painting i made from smearing my palette on whenever i have left over paint

    thats a lot of left over paint

    thanks, i've been working on the same paintings for about 5 years, so it's not that much wasted paint, just a lot of different paint sessions.

     

     

    I love your art. I still have all of the art stuff u gave me when i bought that MPK-mini from you years ago. Some really nice work. I'm glad you're still as awesome as ever.

    Skateboarding

    I used to skate when I was 12 all the way to 19. I got pretty good. Was in a couple lower budget Canadian skate films. Then my health took a turn for the worse and I stopped. Now I just don't have nearly enough energy to bother. Makes me sad sometimes cause it was a fun as hell, I really enjoyed it. oh well.

    MGS Ground Zeroes - This is the shortest game I've ever bought, but it was fun enough. Stealth throat slashings will never get old.

     

     

    Short indeed. It took me 67 minutes to beat the main story campaign. Luckily that only accounts for less than 10% of the game. There are lots of side ops to get through, which are apparently quite fun. I'll be playing them sometime soon. I've just been busy playing WoW lately.

     

    Edit: Can't wait for The Phantom Pain!

    Ya, this new gen feels like just a luxury version of the previous gen, what with the PS4 running most, if not all, games in 1080p. Right now anyways. I'm sure as time goes on and the developers get more and more familiar with the new consoles and become more efficient in their coding, we'll obviously see a good difference. I think The Order 1886 will show quite a difference in graphics from the previous gen. The Division looks like a decent leap too.

    while more detailed, I'm underwhelmed with this new generation compared to the last graphically. Definitely not a big enough paradigm shift to warrant an upgrade atm imo, maybe when ps4, xbone exclusive titles start coming in.

     

    Hideo Kojima said that the reason the previous-gen console versions look so good is because of the Fox Engine, which runs the game. It's apparently an incredibly efficient game engine.
