  1. Gravity - Bullock's acting and just the fact that it was her pissed me off for a good portion of the movie until i got used to it. In the main though, I did some skimming through the exposition and emotes and stuck to the action, this is probably what got me through it. no real reason to watch this film, especially if you don't like illogical bits some that defy physics and some logic, not to mention other stuff which i can't be bothered remembering but i'm sure that if i saw it again the tedious specifics would come to me/10

i did wonder where she ended up, my brother thought that it was africa cause of the landscape, which of course led to speculation about her getting all the way only to now have to fend of wild animals. Not to mention nasties that might have been in that water. We were also annoyed that a craft started to sink that would have been designed to land in a choppy sea.

The space feel made this movie for me, I thought it was really done well. I didn't like all the drama, but I kinda liked the experience as a whole.

  2. Throne is random, but I guess it could/should be something. That thing behind the throne yes, it's pretty obvious when you know how to see it. As for the fire thing, just charcoal.

Only now I see we could have taken this quite a bit further reference-wise.

  3. Ok so, I wanted to quote everybody guessing but it went wrong lol.

You guessed: Kratos's sword from Gods of war, Indy's chalice, Game of thrones eggs, the elder wand, Conan sword, Half life crowbar, insignia on legs and torso is that guys' so it wasn't really part of the game, also Gimli's axe, Zelda sword. That is not the Lannister shield though, but easily could be, it's a different lion! I think I mentioned all of those you guessed now, there are still some more and one always makes me chuckle as it's the biggest thing and no one sees it. And it's not the room, the room is random.

Did someone say Thor's hammer, you must have.

  4. I identified her as a cutey due to the way her lower jaw was constructed, not square, not sitting too far under the mouth. The sweep from her little chin up to her ear suggests that everything else is well proportioned on her face. Her neck was reasonably long and not thick, and her shoulders are not too broad and she doesn't appear squat or fat chested, instead everything suggests a lithe figure. Of course she could have eyes that are spaced too far apart or too close together, and big bushy eyebrows sitting on a protruding forehead, but everything else i mentioned doesn't seem to indicate that this will be the case.

Clothes are the last thing i thought about and it wasn't until you mentioned them. Haven't you ever walked behind a girl of a certain shape and just known that in all likelihood that she would have a pleasant face. There are exceptions of course, these come as a shock heh, but more often than not the figure determines the face and the face determines the figure. Of course when you walk behind a girl you take into account posture and many other factors, like yes, clothing, how they've done their hair, social cues that they have picked up being of a certain visual grade of female. This wasn't the case in looking at this picture because i had already some of the face on which to base my guess.

I can't remember her. She must be one of the girls we were hanging out the entire weekend but blimey, she slipped my mind.

Also lol at everything that happened here.

One of the most despicable and cowardly pieces of film making I've ever seen. Would have walked out if I'd been alone. Nearly on a par with Where The Wild Things Are in terms of nausea inducing shiteness. Gf quite liked it though.

This fix made my evening, I hated that movie.l

  6. I've been trying to find a reliable artist for a comic book I've wanted to make for a couple years. Realized I might not find one, so I started drawing again to try and illustrate it myself. Here are a couple sketches to get me up to speed again. Haven't drawn anything realistic in ages.

A woman that doesn't look as much like Cate Blanchett as she's supposed to:
