I finally finished building these 500 series SSL diy clones. Assembled them 5 months ago then was waiting for chassis and extender bus for testing and calibration to arrive. Everything works fine from the start though i fried one output chip in one of DYNX (mixed up THAT 1646 and THAT 1246). Yesterday i got new chip and now everything seems completed.

what i (stil) struggle with is that orchestra pit timbre cloud that lasts since oversteps tour. i miss fermium and sublimit's stabs times. everything else is fine.

I built preenfm2 and sonic potions lxr kits before (like 8 yrs ago). These 500 series kits are not really hard to assemble though i had to buy more precise soldering iron.
in audio example all ON till 1:28 then gradually switched OFF (CP4500 -> 2xDYNX -> 2xEQ)
audio is Octatrack <- nord mm and ensoniq dp/2 as OT send/return
