  1. wow. i love saga. only thing i dont like is that each e.p is well short and leaves me hanging

@colunga- you mean the original sandman? or the new one. the original is the bees knees

after that read death, books of magic, and lucifer. totally awesome imho

The Vertigo, Gaiman one. I am starting to notice how I don't really like reading off an ipad tho, ha. Something about reading the print version works better. a friend gave me the second volume (doll house?) in print so i will be able to break away from the ipad for that section.

  2. bout to start Sandman. The art never appealed to me but ive been hearing so much about the overall vibe and story that I'm gonna dive in.

just got a .cbr reader so ive gone thru nostalgia (mad magazine and heavy metal magazine!) and now im on to things i never got to read.

  3.

I don't know why James would have omitted this special track from the Analord's. It's bloody genius. He must have forgotten about it when he was compiling all the EP's. He really must start filing things away neatly in folders so he can retrieve them at a later date.

    Chronology's why.

What, you think this track occurred after the release in 2005? Perhaps, but then he could have stuck it with the Analord bonus tracks many years later.

Says 2007 in the soundcloud description

  4. Im always hopeful. Maybe the "wound it back" was in reference to the onslaught of the last dump. winding it back before springing it forward again? I agree 228 is a lot (all at once), but with the bursts of 20-30 at a time it was perfect. I don't necessarily want tracks every day, or week or month... but it's harsh thinking the gates have closed. As everyone else has mentioned tho - I am still amazed that these are even out there to listen to at all. They have filled me with such strange nostalgia and gratitude. Afx has been about 80% of the music i listen to in 2015 (which hasnt happened since 2001/2002!! So crazy!). Also- as obsessive as i have been with them, I still find moments i didnt notice and then its like all new for me. I am beyond thankful. (which feels even more dick like: "Im beyond thankful but do you have anymore plz?")

  5. could have sworn there was an interview where he said "thousands"

I never doubted that he had hundreds of unreleased tracks. but kind of thought the thousands comment was a joke. but it wasnt until this dump (and thinking of ae's long jams) that i thought the "thousands" comment may have been tru too lol
