  1. its always nice to full screen this once in a while

"home listening" from the rubber beats comp is so good

    nice track link here:

  2. Yuppp I'm not talking about how he sounds but vibes and generational infuence. You guys are so disconected from the worlds youth cultures to see hes an icon to a younger generation

  3.

Comparing him to nickleback is seriously fucking reaching, man...

    Puddle of Mudd?

    Pearl Jam?

    Ed Sheeran?

    More like,

    Ian Curtis

    Bradley Nowell

and, as cliche as it's become,

    Kurt Cobain

Closest comparison I can think of for someone who's still living? ... Anthony Kiedis

  4. Whatever just trying to sway some apparently unswayable opinions. All well. I'm fine BCM, thanks tho, had a rough 2017 and lil peeps music helped me through. I'm just grateful to his work, and trying to spread the love, cause its a love with his music. Have fun guys I'm outta this gen ban ish... the rest of the music-related forums are still tight tho. ✌

    Edit: ALL LOVE*

  5. I still want to know what he went through.

It's not quite known but he had depression from some childhood trauma with his father or somethin. Y does it matter he had mental and emotional problems due to various reason like many kids these days, it was quite apparent in his posts on social media and interviews, just know it wasn't some facade he used to amplify the effect of his must. Trussss

So y'all think this is shit writing, and cheesy music?

  6. I can't believe how watmm has reacted to lil peeps death, no respect... kid had talent, good friends, and family he cared about which sang about often. He has an impressive body of work if you care to look and wrote lucid poetic lyrics, and had a great voice and vibe. Shame on you if you see his face tats and immediately judge a book by its cover. I mean, fuck, just all of page 28 is pure disrespect on the kid, and you all clearly have no idea what he stood for who he was, or what hed been through. And using his death as an oportunity to express ur discontent for "soundcloud rap" as a whole is just irresponsible, im looking at you salv, (in kno fuk me heh) when clearly u didn't bother to understand who he was, which i don't blame u for cuz he was so underground when he made most of his body of work. He was separate from all the other colorful haired, face-tatted, xanned out sound cloud rappers even though he adopted the look as he operated within that particular scene later in his short-lived carreer. he was a bright light within that dark and vapid culture. he injected real emotion and human suffering into it, real love. He put a lot of love into his craft and you all shit on him for an entire page, no wonder I don't frequent here often anymore..... ????

  7. Lion looks like the kind of self-congratulatory pablum that Western cinema will produce to cater to purely Western audiences' romantic desires for uplifting stories from the struggling/impoverished parts of the East, whilst irl they continue to hold the same ignorant/reactionary opinions about real people from that part of the world. does nothing for me.

Wtf go see it then talk shit, it brings light to that aspect of western culture, how they adopt these kids not knowing their pasts and expect them to adjust to a new world their forced into, ect... I'll admit dev Patel is a bit too western looking but you can tell each actor was truly touched by the characters they were portraying. Just see it if you want to see the best film of the year, is all I'm saying.
