Whoa thanks all for the work on this! Some really interesting stuff in that interview.
-
Really cool to see Rich comment on this and verify the claim.
Since this topic was brought back up I though I'd post this Go Plastic-era interview with Tom that isn't widely available. It's with Keys magazine and it's in German. I got it from Sepix over on Xltronic awhile ago.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2620795/WATMM/Keys%20Interview.pdf
Some of it was translated in this Xltronic thread, but if someone who knows German wants to tackle the whole thing, that'd be awesome.

I took it to go and that's just how it was when I unwrapped it. It's their (obviously better) take on a Big Mac.

Was working late the other night and treated myself to the "Mack Daddy" burger from Big & Little's here in Chicago.
-
Also, for any lurkers out there the poster above remixed Deep Trail.
nice work
Thanks man! Couldn't pass up the chance to remix one of my favorite artists.

JF Fasson D, we grew up together and made a lot of music. He contributed lots of ideas that were implemented in earlier versions of renoise, among other things. He unfortunately died last year. Would love to hear those tracks again...
Sorry to hear about that man. Here's the JF Fasson D tracks for Mr. Burglar or anyone else who is interested.

I've got quite a bit from that e-man list, but not all of it.

I listen back to my music pretty often- alternating between hating it all and really loving it.

Maybe a little snippet of something new???

man the visual interface of this is so satisfying to watch
Not as cool, but kind of reminds me of this iPad app called Musyc. It let's you do lots of physics based stuff, but alas with preset sounds. They had said MIDI support was coming but that was awhile ago.

Wow, I'm going to have to block out some time and really go over your posts Zeff. Looks like some great info.

Glad I could help.
BTW, these files aren't organized in any way. Some are one-off files and others (usually the ones named in a similar way) were part of small scene releases he did. I didn't include any of the .nfo/.diz and all that but they are kind of fun to look through.
If Rubin or anyone has any more files than these, I'd love to hear them.

This is Karl's debut track for Kosmic. It's a great acid/trance song, and just a hint of what's to come from this great musician. Keep an eye out for more great songs by Karl from Kosmic soon, as well as his great tracks in the upcoming EGG musicdisk #3, "Feelin' Groovy".
Some of the files mention a "Tracked Tribute to the Aphex Twin" but I can't tell if that was actually ever produced. That file is from 1995.

James, also known as Caustic Window, Polygon Window, the Diceman, Aphex Twin, AFX and various other monikers, is one of today's leading 'techno' pioneers, taking music to all extremes. His most recent album, "... I care because you do," is a prime example of this, ranging from the harsh, deafening feedback of "Ventolin" to "Alberto Basalm," a song with overtones of everything from Portishead to Steve Reich to the Beastie Boys. PC/AT is intended to be a musical tribute to Aphex Twin by tracker musicians of all styles and tastes. Submissions can be remixes, reinterpretations or covers of any songs James has written. If you are interested in participating in this unique project, contact me at the address listed below. Submissions are encouraged via email in MIME or UUENCODED at the same address. - Maelcum kosmic@kosmic.wit.com

Goddamn, I arrived too late to the nerd IDM underground scene. Feeling so stupid here but can I somehow convert those tracker pieces to mp3 or something (there's a link in the YT description to the original files but I can't do anything with them)? I take it that there currently isn't a way to get ahold of those impulse tracker pieces and/or Bogdan's KFMF stuff (Karl etc.)? I've got only some pieces of love melodies nintend0 but haven't even been able to find them all let alone the Karl releases or Ice Climber ones. Woud really love to hear those. In general I find Bogdan's early releases much more interesting than his later works which somehow don't have the same impact on me. Hate to ask but if someone can help with those early tracks please do. Because.....
Some audio players can play them. I'm using Vox on OSX and they work. If it wasn't obvious, you can import them into a tracker like Renoise and actually see how the songs are sequenced and pull out the original samples, etc. I've got some of the tracker files... I'll see if I can upload them later.

siiiiick
I need to find his old tracker tunes again, those were wicked
Love this one:

Someone on the WATMM Facebook group posted some nice shots and a video of the vinyl spinning. Can't seem to link it up here though. Looks beautiful.

That fake track is about as legit this one.

Oh man, I loved reading the endnotes - don't skip them. It's part of the experience. I used 2 bookmarks when I read it, to make it easier to flip back. (If you got through all the tax stuff in The Pale King you'll be fine.)

Cool I just signed up :)
Are you the one running it? It doesn't way anywhere who is behind it :)
I think Trash80 (Timothy Lamb) is behind it:
-
I did this 2014 and it was awesome. It really helped me to finish tracks - many of which ended up on an album. I don't think I'm going to do it this year, but I'd recommend it for anyone struggling with productivity. Just get something done every week.

I had not heard of teleport regent or zenith romancer. Are these releases available anywhere?
They were just a few random tracks under the "Teleport Regent" alias. Here's Zenith Romancer. Looove it.

The Magic Crystal Remixes album is out now: http://caoutchou.bandcamp.com/album/magic-crystal-remixes
Solid release, the Global Goon and Weakmassive remixes are particularly good IMO but all of them are solid tracks.
Thanks SG. I listened to the album yesterday and it's great. Really honored to be part of it!

I remember that image from Brad's album Shame. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/610Z390G6FL._SY300_.jpg
