Maybe it's muted on recording but not playback (check the control panel audio settings peice of gay). Really obvious so you've probably checked it.

<completly off topic>

On average how much do 101s go for? I was recently looking into them.

yeah should be able to find the usb drivers for the sh101 over there

then just hit the big red demo button and it will start playing automatically

did you arm the track in sonar...?

and go to Audio Options and make sure your inputs are set up correctly.

ps - what kind of card is it? if its inbuilt, forget it.

just check Ebay

I did, some vastly inaccurate prices at first due to the time left so I couldn't judge...

So, it doesn't seem too bad actually *puts on christmas wishlist*.

audigy soundblaster 80 quid odd

its wierd, if i put it in the mic socket sonar visually records the shape of the sound when you press record but makes no noise, but when its in the line in socket, you can hear it through the software, but when i press record i just get blank recording visuals and no noise either

Thanks guys, LOL of the week tbh :nacmat:

Edit: Oh and I got mine for around 450 euro (inc characteristically overpriced ebay postage) with the mod grip.
