Guest Mental Eclipse Posted August 24, 2007 Share Posted August 24, 2007 I've been re-organizing all my plug-in synths/effects for use in "ableton live 6" however I've come across a problem that I can't seem to figure out. About a year ago I bought a VSTI synth called "Sytrus" made by Image Line (the fruityloops people). I tried to add it to my collection in "live" however for some reason ableton won't read the folder or file. Since Live runs "VSTI" files fine, I'm not sure why it's not reading sytrus. I've done this with many other plug-ins and they have all been fine in Live. Dose anybody know how I can fix this problem? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Jimbob Posted August 24, 2007 Share Posted August 24, 2007 not sure really dude, maybe its an old plugin? i recently copied a ringmod plugin from Cubase into my Ableton folder, which then claimed it was incompatible but it still worked when put it to use. I'm not sure why anyone would do that, but I knew I'd be upgrading from Floops before I bought it. I got sytrus on a special group buy for over 60% off. Thanks for the recommendations.
