Is it just me or is this movie more of a comedy than a serious drama? :undecided:

I was in stitches during many scenes. When Rourke was sitting down with his opp. in the ring just handing out bitch slaps, him having the supermarket job/thumb accident. Great stuff. Had me in tears. Nice office-esque scene with the autograph signing too.

Afterwards I called my friend and told him I thought it was the best comedy ever made. Confusion ensued when I found out it was intended as a drama.

Seriously. It's not a drama. It's a damn (good) comedy. Or a shitty movie.

why classify. a movie can have serious moments and comedy moments. sometimes life is so bad we have to laugh.
