Which will happen at death anyway. A person can't become enlightened because enlightenment is the realisation that there isn't anyone. So there's nothing ET can do to become enlightened because that would be reinforcing the illusion that there is someone there who can do something to become enlightened. So when you say the mind can't let go. That's spot on, that's what it's supposed to do.
