i thought it was nuclear too. burnt and buckled roads could be wildlifes maybe?

 

 

Nothing implies human as the cause of all this in the novel.

 

Not sure that's true, don't have a copy in front of me to check though, lent it to a friend :rolleyes:

Yeah, nothing is blamed. I got the sense that it was the destruction of the environment then society completely imploding that caused it all but that's just guesswork.

Hmm, not quite sure how this'll work as a movie. The book itself was just a bleak journey of survival leading towards the inevitable, without some major plot tweaks it can't fathom how this would work as conventional cinema.

 

In my mind the whole landscape needs more fog.

i just read like 1/4 (page62) of it and its nice so far, not much has happend.

 

im also lisnting to the audio book read by Tom Stechschulte at the same time.

 

i like the trailer. im pumped

so that works as a book? why would that (bleak journey of survival leading towards the inevitable) mean it wouldn't work as a film?
