i just heard "every you every me" this morning. i thought about the times i was listening to the first three albums a lot. interesting times. teenage times, but some really strong memories. anybody feels me?

so i search the youtube a bit and i find a few pieces that still move me.

First band I ever saw live... I think I was 12, maybe 13. Those were the days. First album is still a decent pop rock record I reckon, although I haven't listened to it for years and years.

i never really thought about that... emo... i don't know, really. i mean - does it matter?

the first album is the bounciest, but the second and the third both have some awesome tracks. i'm not sure which one i'd pick as my favorite.

I like this one too!

I think I saw them three or four times over the years, twice at their own shows and a couple of times at festivals.

Even adults need a bit of angst now and again. I have disturbing memories of finding Brian attractive when I first saw the video for Nancy Boy. I must stress that at the time I thought he was a woman.

saw them live once ... was a really crap venue from a punters perpsective.. ok the sound was fine .. but it was a seated venue .. and we were ages away .. admittedly sitting comfortably but all felt so weak and distant .. they were playing the newer crap (was like 4 years ago or someshit) .. which just didn't kick it ... shame but whatever .. this is why i never go and watch any bands any more .. there's always something that's gonna piss me off .. hehe

haha, me too. except my memories weren't disturbing. it was more like "well I'll be" when I realized it was a dude.

One night way back when I was at my most significant ex's house and she had her friend who bussed in that night stay over. She put on Placebo on her ipod on one of those speaker units(iHome? whatever its called) and it cycled through all night as everyone tried to sleep. I heard so much fucking placebo over and over again since I was still in an insomnia induced waking state.

There are certain times in your life when you can just understand the desire for one to swallow a gun. That night was one of those nights. They're okay.
