They could have picked a tackier car for the purpose of this ad, I think. Not like the car is awesome, but it's definitely not "utterly tacky" IMO. Sure the stripe is unnecessary for such a car, but it's cleanly done and other than that, it's a nice set of sporty, non-tacky wheels and a sport suspension.

 

Maybe he's poking more fun at the type of car itself, maybe it's a stereotypical car for drug dealers or something, and I'm unaware since it's a UK thing. :shrug:

In my opinion, By playing it modest the ad was more effective than if he had gone all out with a camino or something...

 

It's like the comic genius of Bill Murray vs the over the top slapstick of Jim Carry, understand what I'm saying?

You'll also enjoy the totally pointless but ridiculously noisy after market air filter. About as helpful as a fart in an astronaut suit, but hell, you didn't get where you are today by being helpful, did you?
