Manchester United Vs Chelsea @ Old Trafford

Boxing Day

Recommended Posts

it'll be tough, but I think we can pull out a draw, even without Rooney.

Valencia needs to be superb, and Berbatov needs a goal.

maybe Park will step up...he doesn't score often, but he does seem to score in big matches.

Shitty weekend all round for England clubs in the Champions League in terms of player injuries.

Arsenal's only saving grace is that both Pique and Puyol will miss the return leg. Still, Barca have to be string favorites to advance.

puyol saved barca from about three goals personally during the match so if he's not playing that gives me hope that arsenal can actually pull it off. I'm trying to be optimistic. But am I the only one who's not THAT worried about not having cesc? It's probably a mental comfort for the squad when he's on the pitch but he played like shit apart from the penalty and having him keep hobbling up and down the pitch was ridiculous.

i'm rooting for a tie between chelski and the scum. best for arsenal.

fuck what am i talking about I'm a spurs fan! COYS!

the last 5 minutes was criminal, the trainer should have had Fabregas off. He probably made the injury about 10 times worse by running on it.

And you'd have to be crazy not to want Fabregas on the pitch. I'll take him playing like shit over about 80% of the players in the premiership.

Internet Hi-Five!

I think we should change our strip to feature a picture of Wayne Bridge's ex on the front, just for this match.

Keep dreaming. Old Trafford is one of the worst crowds (Noise wise) in the Premier League. Oh! , Lets not forget the Green and Gold rubbish (Yeah , that will cheer the players up and intimidate opposition)

My money is probably still on United to be honest, they've still got plenty of goals in em

I don't rate Ancelotti either, just yet

its easy... no one cares about rooney playing united.. as long as he is fit for the world cup. that is crucial. united have had enough cups.. rest rooney and lets win the world cup

LOL , if England win the world cup , i will chop up my Cock and eat it with red sauce.

They have the most dysfunctional team , + All english goalkeepers are rubbish.

David Seaman.

He's my uncle (fact), but he's still the best keeper we've had in 30 years. Yes, including Shilton.

Although, yes, nowadays, we're fucked and having to rely on Calamity James

Yeah, for this World Cup I think we'll have to stick with James sadly, there's no other choice. Only Green is getting the games to make himself worthy of a place.

We have problems in every position. Welcome to English football.

Berbatov is Rubbish , and without Rooney .. I can't see the mancs scoring.

Chelsea To Win two-null

Forgot to add a little fact called CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. United just played Bayern Munich , and they have to play them again on Wednesday. A clusterfuck of fixtures.

Chelsea are well rested. Ferguson will have to sacrifice players. The millions dollar question is, which game is a priority for him.

I think every Man United player will be just as motivated regardless of where they are in the line-up, and the game will be just as even.

I was at old trafford when we played chelsea in 2006. The crowd were absolutley amazing and we won the game one nil with a lucky fletcher header. trust me, the crowd will be fantastic tomorrow.

David Seaman may be your uncle, but he's not better than Shilton.

The green and gold campaign, while perhaps shoddy in its execution, is a positive move, cause the faster we get any American owners out of the game the better. They will fucking ruin football. I am not usually one for wanton America bashing, but in this case I feel entirely justified.

Ferguson's starting 11 is not as difficult a decision as you might think. Vidic and Ferdinand are both fairly well rested after having long spells of not playing due to injury. Evra is a machine.

So vs Chelsea

Rafael - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra

Valencia - Fletcher - Carrick - Nani*

Berbatov - ???

*Maybe plays Park here if Fergie wants to be a little more defensive minded.

Against the Krauts

Neville - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra

Valencia - Fletcher - Scholes - Carrick - Nani

Berbatov

Sub Giggs for Nani early in the second half.

Urrrrrgh, the second goal was an outrage. Looking at Chelsea's run to the end the season (Bolton, Spurs, Stoke, LIverpool, Wigan) its in their hands to loose it.

Can't say united played badly, just lacked that finishing touch.

Fucking hell do I despise Chelsea.

Man U's goal was a hand ball was it not?... They didn't deserve anything from the game, people make excuses about Rooney all they want, But we started with Drogba on the bench to give them a chance and they still fucked up. Chelsea want you to despise them, the Millwall of the Premier League... thats the way I like it. Man Utd beaten by a better team... We started with Deco for gods sake!
