i posted it in general banter because the afx forum is full of weirdos so some people never go there. also it has nothing to do with aphex twin. if i was a mod i would have moved it instead.

For the past 6 months i've barely listening to music because i think i tried to go further into IDM, stuffs like jynx or kettel which i found pretty boring.

Now I think i'm gonna head toward "world electronic music", way better.

i've been travlling to africa, brazil and cuba recently. i've tried to find some good chinese "zen" music but i don't know where to look. like really quiet improvisation on string instruments.

 

 

my favorite of my travels is fela kuti. i would like to hear more music like his

 

actually, listening to zombie kicked off a strong desire for me to find more "long grooves" of any form. krautrock type stuff
