gunnar Posted June 18, 2011 Share Posted June 18, 2011 very fun melodies and quite good drum programming. now for some tips? it wouldn't hurt to add some low frequency bass to compliment the drums. also, putting a momentary suprise reverb on say like a snare hit here and there. cruising for burgers Posted June 19, 2011 Share Posted June 19, 2011 try to modulate the beat with the melodies and vice versa, so that they sound glued together. example: on the end of some breaks, make the same rhythm on melodies and drums or apply the same fx on both drums and melodies sometimes...
