minimal techno noise track

The rhythms aren't special enough to keep the track interesting. I kinda like the sound of the noisy blips together with the pads though.

I do dig "After Nap Improv" btw.

It's a modular tracker and it looks like this (well it does on mine as I customised the shit out of it !):

I've been using it for well over a decade and is flipping ace - and free, though unfortunately has a bit of brick-wall learning curve (especially if you've never used a tracker before). I'm currently migrating to Ableton though, not because Buzz is bad but I'd become a little to content with my working practice and it was having a negative effect on creativity.

honestly i didnt really like it. even if it is just a noise track, there really isnt anything there to keep me interested. but at the very end where you had that choir pad thing. i loved that part a lot. if you made a track with the same sounds but had that pad playing the whole time in the background then this song would be pretty amazing.

also, 9 mins? that seems way too long for this.

thanks for the feedback. i agree the first part of the track before the silence is rather pointless. it's almost like it's just warming up for the second half.

the drums are from the korg er-1.

waiting for the waldorf rocket!

nice blips and synths, agreed it only needs the 2nd part and the bass drum seemed a little to heavy.. made it harder to relax into the noisey bits :)
