Oh man, you could do so many things with this! This is a great starting point for what could be a fantastic ambient track. You should definitely add more stuff to it :)

I almost never return to already finished tracks. It's all about inspiration I guess, really hard to add something new to work that feel completed to you. It's also pretty pointless most of the time, you can make the track lose its vibe.

It was kind of first experience, never used any MIDI controllers before. I was thinking about bitcrushed drum loop in the end, sub bass, some arp synths and a lot of other stuff, but then I thought "fuck it" and began to turn knobs for 6 minutes :D

One thing I recommend is returning to older tracks after anywhere from 6 months to a year of making the original. You can make a lot of progress in that time, and when you go back to a track to expand on it after making so much progress, the improvements you can make on your own ideas are mindblowing.

Yes, indeed. It worked for me once, when I rewrote my old drum'n'bass track after 6 months. This version was better than previous, but I consider them both shitty now anyway :D

Most of the time I prefer to do something new, not to return to old works. Another personal thing.
