All composed with hardware digital waveguide synthesis (4 units) and mixed in in real-time with Live. No real instruments, samples or recordings of any kind were used.

I'm still working out the overall flow of Ambiente 4, so its possible only some of none of these will appear on the final album, just curious what people thought of them.

edit: the first 2 are done in kind of a horror movie score style, the 3rd is me plagiarizing steve reich by accident and the 4th is an attempt to make a self playing Metal Machine Music style rig but not using actual guitars or amplifiers.

edit2: if anybody with an interest in classical composing or scoring wants to collaborate with me on something PM me, now that I have this rig setup in my studio I've been eager to find other composers to send me midi files so that I can 'physically model' a string or a horn section or whatever

it's kind of like he's making the sounds with his e-cig, like the waveform is the vapor lol

anyhow, this would be great in a psychological horror film set in a space station, i think mainly cuz it reminds me of cliff martinez's score from the soderbergh SOLARIS, specifically when solaris is engulfing the station
