My second child, Trillium, was born last week. I started this tune a couple days after she was born. It's poppy and sweet, I wanted to make something that was worthy of her and our birth experience.

I really like this track. If you were looking for suggestions, I would try playing around with sparse complex weird glitchy IDM beats every now and then to switch up that main beat a little. Other than that, I personally wouldn't touch anything else. Really love the melodies and progressions you threw together hear.

Thanks! Yeah, I thought about changing up the beat while writing it, but I wanted to keep it simple and poppy, and focus on the melodies. I get bogged down when it comes to drums sometimes. Maybe I'll make an alt mix some time. Maybe.

Congrats on the kiddo - you can really feel the joy in this one. My only mix note is that the snare sounds a bit hot and if it were me I'd bring it back a bit. Otherwise this is a lovely little tune.
