World War Z - 5/10 pretty much free of any plot, or acting, Brad's wrinkles did a great performance. You could smell Lindelof all over the last 40 min.
Man of Steel - 7/10 maybe not quite as great as I hoped, I still think Watchmen is better. Snyder spent most of the movie avoiding all of the tired Superman tropes, then squeezed them all in the last 5 minutes. Seriously, was there a point to the character Jenny Olsen except to stand in the path of falling buildings and look dumbfounded?

This is the End - 9/10 fucking hilarious, it was really funny. Tons of cameos, and parodies of 2012, The Mist, Pineapple Express, The Road Warrior, The Excorcist. Total stoner comedy and one of the best since Harold & Kumar.
Zero Dark Thirty -7/10 another good Katherine Bigelow historical drama, good casting, a little slow to start but it ramps up as the third act begins. I wonder how much was fictionalized. Chris Pratt can actually buff up when he tries.

Hugo - 9/10 what a great film, watched this in 3D and loved it. Kingsley, Cohen, and Christopher Lee were excellent. CG was great as well, it really brought me back to my film school days.

Also for Xbox Live users who don't like spending money, Fable 3 and The Walking Dead are both free on XBL right now for some reason. They're not being promoted on the marketplace or anything, so probably a glitch or something, snap em up!

Now You See Me - 4/10 generic boring heist movie crap. Inane plot, cardboard acting, and they really still use sarcastic clapping in this day?
After Earth - 2/10 even worse, boring boring boring. Will Smith did a real good job of sitting in a chair for 2 hours and staring incoherently at the camera. He deserves to lose his own money on this shit. Hollywood please don't give MNS another huge budget, he's fucking clueless.
