"Hello Gary? It's Jim. Yeah, hi. So Gary, I'm setting up the sign for church. You know, from that DIY package you sent me. Yeah, look, I got all the letter's, right? But there's just six apostrophe's. Where's the rest of 'em, Gary? What do you mean, that oughta be plenty?! I need more apostrophe's, Gary!!!"

Toffo / sbd "whats this track and what does the sample say? https://youtu.be/lC7LGzCZ-q0?si=puZ3LmOAHkU7vr6k (at 14:30)"
Sean_ae "title is MYSLB, maybe you can fig out the sample from that ;)"
This has to be an acronym, a five word sentence. I think I can sorta make out "Make Your S_______ L_______ Back"(?)
Anyone else have an idea?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but an amusing anecdote:
I had a Quaristice promotional poster up for sale on ebay, and it recently sold. After looking at the seller details...it just so happens to be another USA based Warp artist
Who was it? Don't want to have to guess.

Bleep seem to be offering the whole 2022 live set for £5 (£6 wav). Pretty good deal for 8hrs of music if you haven't picked them up already.
Odd. It says €20 for me (that's about £17).

There sadly isn't much more to this little story (or maybe I've forgotten the saltier bits since): Tim Hecker (the human) essentially sent a cease-and-desist to the owner of Tim Hecker (the cat) to stop using his name. Tim Hecker (the cat) was pretty chill about it.
I don't believe this would've been an issue if the cat was named Florian Hecker.

4 april, AB, Belgium. Guessing I’ll be cancelling my trip to Bali and start buying AE EU tickets
I want them to play at Bozar for once, instead of AB. Its concert hall has superb acoustics, some of the best worldwide (allegedly).
It would bring together my favourite architect and band.
Some interesting trivia: the top balcony of this concert hall is at street level, which means the entire hall was built downwards. This was done to limit the overall height of the building (a museum and concert hall) in order to guarantee the nearby royal palace an unobstructed view of Brussels.

"Contact binary" moon around asteroid Dinkinesh
This image shows the asteroid Dinkinesh and its satellite as seen by the Lucy Long-Range Reconnaissance Imager (L’LORRI) as NASA’s Lucy Spacecraft departed the system. From this perspective, the satellite is revealed to be a contact binary, the first time a contact binary has been seen orbiting another asteroid.

Perhaps one of them "conducted"? Or there was some kind of token ring? Or they agreed on some cues or something...

Rob: fokkin'ell mate, that was wild, if I say so myself.
Sean: yeh, it really was. Nice that it turned out this good, specially since we agreed to never ever -éver- do this set again.
Rob: absolutely, this down right depleted me! Back to the good old 'a' sets from now on, ey? Btw, I purged my 'b' files just now.
Sean: same. Started purging during the set. Soz to leave that ending to you, maet.
Rob: 's alright, think it amused the crowd. Oh, you did press 'record', right?
Sean: ...

but it's not a great pressing.
I think most -if not all- of these coloured pressings were pretty bad. I have the silver Incunabula and that's pretty darn unlistenable. My copy even has a side that's noticably off center.

Lol sorry man, it was meant to be in jest. For me they're not better than the albums (I love onclements to bits), but that's just my preference.
Of course
It's the sense I got from other people on the board. I must admit I've never even given Onclements a proper playthrough. Shame...

Oh yes! Reissue as a 6 CD box set, release set for april 20th 2024, Record Store Dei
This was released last december as a very limited 6 LP box set, which went completely under my radar. Last copies available here and there.
These are the first official releases of the broadcasts, and I believe the first time we can hear 'The Evenings of Certain Lives' in its entirety since the broadcasts themselves.
This is big!!! I was profoundly impressed when I first heard these.
