  1. you and me both. antiwar dub was the first thing to make me go woah! that caspa/rusko is silly shit, but fun once in a very odd while. sorta the shitmat of dubstep
  2. some guy is spinning some fucking great 2steppy stuff on sub.fm at the moment
  3. drukqs is better than bananas by a longshot but potatoes are 10 times better than drukqs so therefore........ circular references are the devil's divide by zero
  4. i'm thinking of writing a bot that posts 'this thread is fucking retarded' in this fucking retarded thread once a day.
  5. if you mean that they all sound like burial, then yes, they do i'm not getting into yet another burial clusterfuck
  6. you have lutvisk in place of ears. its not how many samples, it's where he puts them. it's definitely got the weirdest rhythm of any burial track.
  7. this blog post nails it, for me
  8. will check those now idi seeing as i was talking about it in another thread, this might be my fav burial beat ever. it's all over the bloody shop and is even more impressive as it's on HDUB001 (which i picked up along with sine on 10" at a record fair. niiiiice.) burial - nite train
  9. need to listen to this more every time i do i think "fuck yeah! i love this! why don't i listen to it more?" inner03 is so funky

  12. yeah i like martyn http://nymag.com/arts/popmusic/features/48667/ new york mag good ref for the wiki although LOL oh my good lord, reading it, it is heavily based in places on the wiki article i mostly wrote with P4K and zeibura including structure and even exact wording in the odd occasion. hahahaha this is so weird. such is the nature of the GFD license!
  13. issue fixed, now the hyperdub page is starting to look awesome woo
  14. i can't find any entity, hit me up christ, sometimes people on wiki really get on my tits. the storm in a teacup starts on jul 21
  15. new burial about apparently: Commix - Be True (Burial Remix) (Metalheadz, 2008) no linkage as yet as for me, i fell in love with/at a girl at joanna newsom and i like to cuddle aftar. feminine side ok i dunno why bass is considered masculine anyway i think clouds have a nice, slightly mental feminine edge can''t say i'm a big fan of that reminissin trk cos i'm not i hate anything even remotely house diva-esque although np: V by distance. it's metal, lol
  16. eh, my post wasn't really in response to yours but yes drop the lime et al is not so great
  17. i kinda know why people are giving out about losing the shuffle. the shuffle was one of the things that made me listen to this. i remember telling my mate about this new album by a chap called burial that 'had beats that made me walk funny on phones. no, not funny like autechre beats do. different' what seems like a long time ago i guess the shuffle comes from garage more than anything else, and i love it, but i can also see why some producers have grown a bit weary of exploring the possibilities of a delayed snare on the 2 and 4 or whatever... there was a benga track in silly time sigs that skream was dropping for a while in sets which i thought kinda stretched it to its natural conclusion, which i have mentioned loadsa times. at this stage will probably never see the light of day :(
  18. lol, he stomps all over the original i like the 80s ryuichi sakamoto pads in the beginning and at 3:20 as much as the bass (which has sorta stopped being bass really, lol)
  19. fucking ace grime podcast with aza t, logan sama, and most importantly durrty goodz on the mic: http://www.igrime.blogspot.com/
  20. bloody sarf lahdaners all sound the same
  21. but that's skream taking the piss out of him!
  22. and drawing together the genres of comedybass and guyritchiestep - another silly bass and cockney sample track (don't get me wrong - shit is good fun) caspa and rusko are their own genre caspa - the terminator i wonder if the ref to the pre-goldie goldie hardcore track is intentional?
