  1. Haven't listened to them too much yet, although from what I heard I didn't like these as much as Vektroid's other stuff under names that aren't Vektroid. My favorite thing by her so far is either Laserdisc Visions or Virtual Information Desk (in Japanese). Or if you count Sacred Tapestry then that, but it was never officially released. Just on Soundcloud.

  2. So this stuff is still going on. From Wikipedia:

    21 April
North Korea moved two mobile missile launchers for short-range Scud missiles to the coast in South Hamgyeong province.
    23 April
North Korea demanded recognition as a nuclear state as prerequisite for dialogue.
    25 April
North Korea warned that it may use kamikaze nuclear attacks.
    26 April
South Korea announced that it will withdraw its remaining workers from the Kaesong Industrial Region to protect their safety after the North Korean government rejects talks.
    29 April
American Kenneth Bae held in North Korea could face the death penalty for allegedly conspiring to overthrow the government.
All but seven South Korean workers leave the Kaesong Industrial Region.
    30 April
The annual Foal Eagle joint military drills between South Korea and the United States came to a close with both nations continuously monitoring the situation on the Korean penninsula.

  3. Remi annoys me because he's a huge attention whore. That kind of stuff can be funny, but Remi always makes the extra step to say "Hey, look at me guys! Aren't I funny?".

    Anyway, here's this.

  4.

Can you block people from posting topics in this subforum until they have a certain number of posts?

We've been talking about things like that, but there's no reason to take things to the extreme. For now, people just need to remember that you have to give some to get some, and they don't then their threads will be closed.

Well my thinking is that many people come here and go "oh cool I can post my stuff" before they really understand, to some degree, the ins and outs of the forum. If they have to get to like 30-100 posts, they'll more likely understand how things tend to go, especially since this place attracts people who like music but aren't really forum-goers.

  5. Mainly the ones where the posters barely have any posts at all, not even just in YLC. There are probably others from people that have many posts but have not actually commented on other tracks, but that's harder to check for.

I technically don't know about this one, but it seems highly suspect:

  6. Fatima Al Qadiri is way awesome, and "distroid" (although I don't think anyone but Dummymag calls it that) has a much more constructive overall message than vaporwave in my opinion. Desert Strike EP has one of the coolest themes of any album ever. Like seriously read that blurb about the album.

  7. I feel like maybe a normal forum isn't perfectly suited for this sort of thing. Mumu works pretty well, but that's chat. I really like the idea though; I think that what we might really need is for the community to make an effort if we want it to work. You can make as many rules as you want and it still won't work if people don't try at all. And if people are into making an effort, rules aren't as necessary.
