  1. "pearlers" might be too oz slang for some? basically means something brilliant
  2. Going to be a midspring SIGN release in the southern hemisphere
  3. Boothst Waene tellin it like it was back in dem days of PyRo RadiiO
  4. Once-maligned Australian hip hop appears to be entering a golden age at the moment, and this guy JK-47 is one of the most talented and tasteful, just released an impressive debut album which veers more oldschool boom bap.
  5. In the past we've also talked about that carried over onesix thingy as a kind of charged particle, an apt representation of the music itself.
  6. Atomic number 14 (album #14) is Si (Silicon). Silicon-based products can tend to have that charcoally metalloid aesthetic. The fire bricks in kilns or the charged interaction of semiconductors to control electrical signals might be a way of meaningfully visualising the artwork? The Si Grey also provides a link between both album #14 releases - the fiery and the lush green. And of course, the IDM relevance of the 'silicon age'. Ae have history with this sort of thing, probably plays a small part of the title/art meaning.
  7. si00 = si-glasses = sign asses = I.LIKE.BIG.BUTTS
  8. I just remembered that Annie's long-awaited (and similarly hyped) third album "Dark Hearts" comes out on the same day!!! https://youtu.be/wl2Jkt547rA
  9. SIGNature A green album? Nature? The digital signature Nfinito era? tks Sean B.eat & l'ush Robkim
  10. Hopefully Green isn't a remix reSIGN album, departing us with tearful memories of green.
  11. Maybe this is the radio signal station traffic fake album we've long joked about SIGiNtDM
  12. Peter Andre's Gimme Little Sign was also released October .6th. The Sign was also a 29th October 1993 release in Europe. Another '93 debut album (outside Denmark) *xfiles*
  13. There has been an unseen "Sean Booth" brother character on Home & Away of late. Peter Andre was like Sean born in England in '73 and released his first album in '93 (inc. hit "Gimme Little SIGN"). Both also married women with the same amount of letters in their first & last names (Mira Calix & Katie Price) respectively.
  14. CD pre-ordered. I live 2 hours from the nearest regional city in Far North Queensland, so I assume my CD will be the earliest dispatched for its long epic Covid-addled journey. Same weekend as the AFL Preliminary Finals.
  15. That aesthetic gives me visions of this: R.aE.M - Warpner: The Aerly Years One of those "5 album sets", a comp reissue of the Green, Out of Time, AftP, Monster & Hi-Fi period. thanks Stipe & Berry
