Ofc we can complain to a bad concept of releasing music wtf was all this QR-Code shit show about?
Just release it normally!
If it leaks now before "official" release I would totally grab it from SoulSeek and not buy it.[censored because being positive in 2023 is hard but I'm tired of discussing it]

Ha, still thinking there’s going to be an official, hyped up blackbox life recorder EP or LP and that this 10” has nothing to do with it. I do think exclusive releases are total bs, even more so when it’s digitals. Slsk it is, new tracks ahoy!
I'm assuming that's what's happening yeah. EP/LP release on the 28th with attendee-only music on the way like with a few sets last time. pls

yeah why look for things to complain about during an afx tour and release summer.. fuck yeah new music tomorrow get on it portuguese people

I dropped 15 bucks on a Wii balance board last night. When it shows up I'm playing a fuck of David Ledbetter's My Personal Golf Trainer.
Have you golfed before are you going to play this to level 100 and then go defeat the bourgeois?

It sounds like a Rolando Simmons or ROTR acid line mixed with afx beats I can’t place it exactly but I’m almost certain I’ve heard the acid line before…
Edit: not saying it’s one of them btw just that it’s very familiar I’m trying to place it now .
reminded me of trackermatte too but that's definitely afx. ROTR ehh not really. railway raver and automatic tasty more like. but even for these three it'd be pretty unconventional. sounds like a jolly as fuck followup to abundance to me.. here's some more I found:
this set is amazing, hope someone recorded it properly.. so many phones!

I like what iglooghost is doing in terms of laying some new groundwork. A friend of mine called it maximalist once, that always stuck with me.
keep going back to mute egg here at 10:08. There's not a whole lot of music like this I'd say? Wish there was. This one's fun too, more in the hip hop beat vein:

anyone been playing the diablo 4 beta? The game comes out for people that pre-ordered on Thursday I think. I've purposely been avoiding it and looking forward to going in blind and enjoying the first playthrough. Still not sure if I'm going to pre-order the $70 basic version, or just wait for the horrible release day issues to pass and hop in whenever. I'm really looking forward to some good cutscenes/story and being a loot whore.
Played the beta up to level 25 and Diablo 4 has me all diabolically giddy. I remember playing Diablo 2 on my dad's lap. I was scared of the Wendigo in the caves and he was a bad gamer, I don't think we ever reached act 2. Eventually in high school I saved up for my own tower to play Diablo 3 and Bad Company 2, and 11 years later here we are. I never stuck around with D3 because I preferred the gloomy atmosphere of D2 compared to D3 so this is looking right up my alley. Thinking about it now Diablo was probably my introduction to my love for all things Lovecraftian.
The crossplay integration sounds perfect too, besides not having couch co-op on PC. I'm curious if I can just level a character, make a mean build, group up with my friends and fight people in the PVP zones. Those places might be endgame-build arenas only eventually so the first few weeks/months might be the least static experience there. Some world secrets to find would be cool too. I preoredered it because otherwise I'd probably be spoiling myself reading about it online.. Not really looking forward to the usual Blizzard launch problems. Reviews are looking like a good time though. I just wish there still were paladins for the full nostalgia line-up:

another day, another news story about AI wiping us all out:
Artificial intelligence could lead to extinction, experts warn
extinction is inevitable with the heat death of the universe might as well get a little hologram waifu that helps with shopping lists on the way there.
I wonder why you decided to post this here? it's just fear mongering, do you just want us to circlejerk complain about it? Or discuss.. AI leading to extinction? I'm so tired of seeing media exploit people's fears for clicks.

yeah idk man. this was fine? it's quite ridiculous and probably not a very good film. the dialog is at times absurd and heavy-handed, starting with the very first scene in which the dad explains films through technical terms and the mom calls them dreams. this is dichotomy. wow. they're like, opposites. i felt the story was basically fine but it did not have an emotional core - it showed what in a better movie would have been felt. the family dynamic was there, a story was there, but there really was nothing that drew the viewer into a deeper register.
the glorification of the spielberg stand-in character was genuinely annoying - the movie revolves around a kid who is a kind of perfectly creative filmaker starting at like age 6 where he's filming full movies in his house with complex lighting, creative props, special effects, etc. every time we are shown one of his films it's a huge success, the audience is literally hooting and hollering in amazement at every turn. at no point does he struggle with his art, fail at anything, undergo any process of learning or discovery. this kid is simply a born filmaking prodigy. he is at one point picked on by a bully, only to be immediately befriended by the bully's girlfriend and her friend who throws herself at him. he briefly hates his mom for what he discovers only for him to immediately forgive her when he reveals what he knows. his dad doesn't understand him and considers his art a mere "hobby" but nevertheless supports his hobby at every turn. the potential conflicts are constantly undermined like this. the most interesting conflict - the mother torn between two worlds - is just undercooked and bland. and anyway in the end she gets what she wants, too. this is a world where every ending is happy and no conflict endures for more than a few scenes. it amounts to just the happenings of a privileged oedipal unit.
which to me is not an interesting thing to watch. as ever, spielberg cannot produce anything erotic which renders the central conflict of the story cold and plastic. never in film has there been a scene of a woman dancing in a nightgown with lights behind her shining through and revealing her body underneath that was less sensual, less erotic. that scene was rated G. this was a weird film that was almost nothing but cliche, there are no standout lines or characters or shots or anything like that. it's all very nicely done but yeah, just an extremely conservative film in every way. kind of disturbing that there is no real wisdom to be found in a very late work by one of the most celebrated film makers in the world.
I'm so not into Steven Spielberg I watched this movie thinking it was going to be his take on a weird magical family. Probably mixed up an article about a book adaption at some point. When I realised it was about him it became pretty obnoxious. Why does the actor playing him wear lenses? Did Spielberg have some sort of cornea sickness? Who makes a movie about himself anyways? Lynch felt very shoehorned in at the end. I was glad it was over.
