Shit, just realized at the end they asked if Aphex Twin could play an anniversary show for them on June 10 2023, glad to see Richard came through for one of his true fans Willam Montgomery, now that is legendary

wow I absolutely hate this. just riding bad jokes on the afx coattail. would rather watch norm mcdonald for the 100th time

I remember finding some really suspicious documents in the depths of the net during the beginning of the outbreak which pointed to wuhan labs months before the news hit, showing a mutation of covid listed in their data long before they put out the news. it's fucking weird

I still remember the visuals he did in 2009 aphextwin and hecker. Made my jaw drop, i was disgusted by his "houses that look like faces" he projected there, would love to see that again.

Like another member said, weirdcore is part of aphextwin to me. What an amazing artist.

Also want to give a big shoutout to all the people behind the curtains, setting up the stage, doing the lights and lazers. They do an amazing job ❤️

I'm so lucky to catch another show in belgium

there's a really sick reel of that tour on weirdcore's vimeo:

wait what? there’s a new JSR coming out???? ?

    that would be awesome.

yeah this was part of an internal sega reel that leaked:

the picture above was on the net a few months before that IIRC.. seems sega is pushing a lot of money to make this a next-gen reboot, they announced some kind of partnership with microsoft for "AAAA gaming services" a while back so this'll probably have some online features too :sorcerer:

such a poor take to call this set edm.. if anything his recent sets have been a callback to old rave culture, heavy breakbeats mixed with 21st century laser music, jungle, straight up noisy hardcore. if all you see is a cube and go "oh deadmau5" when watching afx then you're prob some normie anyway who is not really afx's demographic.. so one dimensional. what does this even mean: "Simply playing records or pushing buttons may work at the club, but as soon as an artist is placed on an elevated stage in a giant room, they’re playing the EDM game, whether they like it or not."
I've been to so many psytrance festivals with big stages.. the edm game is this

    not this:

cheers to that man. this place really is like a pub i love it. guess thats why i feel comfortable posting that here. there should be a skit about an entire thread walking into a bar, each profile picture spewing the stupidest shit but they're all having a laugh in the end. maybe the last frontier of the internet for me this
